  • Ive studied and completed K100, DD100 - Understanding health and social care. And certificate in social sciences.

I'm currently studying three short 10 point courses.
    Understanding health
    Human genetics and health issues
    And understanding human nutrition.
My exams at college finish this month and i don't start my access course until late september so i'm taking these courses more for personal interest, anybody else doing these?

How are you getting on?? Have you completed TMA1 yet? There will be a DB123 Live chat tonight at around 8pm to discuss the TMA.

Hi and sorry, I haven't been logged on here for a bit!

I completed TMA 01 and managed to get a 100% mark! Unbelieveable for me really!

How did you get on with yours?

    Hi Everyone,

Would love to be added to the list if possible please?

I've just had my registration confirmed to start MU120 Open Mathematics and M150 Data, Communication and Information in October 2009. These will be my first courses with the OU :D

Just a thought for anyone starting OU now or in the last month or so, wait until Sept for applying for the NUS card, think its £10.00, but I covered that back in 2 weeks,

The NUS year starts Sept, so anyone applying now will only get the card to last till Sept.

Anywhere I go, my 1st question - Do u do Student discount.

sorry what is a NUS card

Congratulations on your 100%:j:j If anyone on here need microsoft office try here it's quite cheap: https://www.software4students.co.uk

NUS card is one you can buy from NUS website which you can use to get student discount. Card runs from Sept each year, and costs £10 per year (or get a 3 year one for £25!)
I've used mine lots, got much more back than the £10 it cost:j
