Its a really good course, hard going at times, but well worth it.

How are the other W100-ers doing with their TMAs? I seem to be scoring progressively lower on each one - 80, 76, and 72 for the last one.
Hi There,
Oh I wouldn't worry bout those marks..... mine are terrible compared to those 57, 58 and 61. So there you go, bet you feel better already!!
I'm not doing too good at the mo, not managed to get through unit 11, not started the next tma, friend's been in hospital for nearly 3 weeks now and FIL passed away so had a funeral this week too.....And to top it all I'm not well myself.
Keep thinking to myself that if I can just scrape a pass I'll be grateful!!

Wehey - Good to hear that I'm not the only one!
Apparently it's an enjoyable course, so I'm looking forward to getting started.
Have you done any previous study and what are you aiming for?
How are you getting on?? Have you completed TMA1 yet? There will be a DB123 Live chat tonight at around 8pm to discuss the TMA.Tesco: £1361.19, Vanquis: £2644.73, Very: £563.08, Next: £1636.95, M&S: £1049.92. As of 5th February 2024. Slava Ukraini0 -
Arghhh borrocks, just realised I have 9 days to do my next TMA (TMA 3 for S216).
On the plus side they let me register for S193 the May presentation, even though I forgot to send to paperwork in until Monday (the cut off day for registration). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Why oh why do i do it to myself. First TMA is due tonight and you guessed it....Mine is no where near finished. I should have learnt when at school, I did well at school and always managed to get everything done (how il never know) but this is OU and my first course and now I'm freaking out.Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's about learning to dance in the rain.0

Lol giggles see my post above and guess whos only just starting.....
I suggest read the assignment paper, check the 'timetable' usually gives you an idea of which bits you need for each question then set to work reading the 'relvant' parts as per the indexIt’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Lol, thats kinda reasurring to know i'm not the only one. Muddling on, only worth 10% so i'm hoping if it turns out badly i can make up marks later on.Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -
quick update:
M150 - great course - just the final ECA left. Really enjoyed it. Poss helped by getting good marks!
T175 - great tutor - dreadful course. forum work is dull and awful. you get extra marks for spelling and managing to hand your assignments in properly. that's wrong IMHO. you shouldn't get extra marks for that, you should just lose them if it's wrong. Still only loads of TMAs and CMAs and an ECA to go...
M255 next time. i think!
update over!
evening!

Mines worth a little more of the overall grade - thank fluff for substitutions
Just about admitted defeat on mine, I hated the topic at college and at uni, failed every exam I ever took on it so dont hold out much hope on the question on that topic I've tried muddling through on my TMA, fingers crossed the other ones are good enough to get me a pass mark. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
