Can I be added-oooh didn't know this thread existed

Cydney, doing SD226 Biological Psychology (30pts going on 60pts!). I have been studying with the OU on and off for 18years. Hoping for a degree in Psychology but may just change my mind 'cos I'm terrible like that. I've now converted my youngest daughter to the ways of OU and we study together ahhhh:p

Good luck all with your studies, I need some too as I'm a wee bit behind :eek:

Just found this thread, had a good look through and realise I'm not doing too good - I only got 57 (level 3) for eTMA1 last month, and I'm struggling juggling everything and writing the eTMA2 for the end of this week.....

Fingers crossed that I can get some done later today, after 6 hours at work, a 2 hour parents evening tonight and the usual madness that is my house....

Oh thank you for that.... don't feel like I'm the only one now....

I'm gonna have a look through the book with a pack of post its and a marker pen then ignore it tomorrow and make an effort wed to do it and check it thurs. If I do it wrong, at least I'll get feedback and know for the next one....

Postive mental attitude and all that!!

You're definitely not the only one. I submitted eTMA1 at about ten minutes to midnight on deadline day! I notice you're in the North-east - are your tutorials at Durham?

Yes I'm in Newcastle, but my tutorials are at Newcastle Uni - I've not made any as they're on a sat morning and DD has dance classes and I can never make it.

I've not managed to condense down the first two in question 1, I've cut them as much as poss, but the other's I managed to put a bulleted list for one which cut the word count to about 40 (result!). But word counts are always an issue to me too. Either can't fill em or I'm overflowing with waffle

I'm really stuck with Question 3. Its too vague and I don't even know where to begin.... And how much quoting of cases and laws can you possible do when "discussing".....

I think I'll be submitting this one at the last min myself, I must get more on the ball with the next one!!

I can't make my tutorials either, I was going to ask you what they were like!

Question 3 I think I'll be ok with, as I write best in essay form rather than these brief answers needed for question 1. I've finally cracked and emailed my tutor to ask for guidance.
