mel i avoid lactose (apart from choc which for some reason i just can't give up:rotfl: ) and wheat - but I am self diagnosed so not really sure whether i have an intolerance to both, either or neither:rotfl: must go back to the gp and get it sorted.

  • Hiya everyone

    Welcome all newbies.
OMG i'm so excited. For everyone that doesn't know i went for an interview last october and earlier this month at SAGA (a well known call centre:D ) and both times i haven't got the job, i was a bit gutted about it, actually i cried  :rotfl: lol. My cousin also works at the SAGA building and she asked them why i didn't get the job(ask is a bit of a understatement, it was more like demanded :D) and they said it wasn't because of my personality or me. It was because they don't know how i will be with the abusive calls, and they said it would be best if i had a couple of months experience in a sales job (ie burger king or a supermarket or WHS). So tomorrow morning im going down the job centre and searching for a job lol:rotfl:
Anyhoo, moving on from my life :D
Well here's my summary of my contribution this month. Red is completed, black is unfinished/not started, green started:

    Valentines-Few pressies-£7
    Our 'Anniversary'-£10 inc food
Used Boots vouchers to buy hamper bits(£15 worth of hair and skin)
Started to make our circle journal challenge(sorry mel :D)
    Tidied the spare room (fully)
Taken charity bags to the charity shop
Sorted Birthday's in March, April, May, June x20:eek:
Made Mother's Day journal jar x2
    Sorted out house fully
    Finish all washing and ironing
    Sort out general housework
    Ebaying
Selling at craft fairs (Try etsy)
    Making cards and crafts
    Tidy Bedroom(AGAIN:rolleyes: )
    Sort out garage

Sorry for the long ramble lol its taken me ages to do this so if i snip people's posts i'm really sorry it has taken me about 2 hours to write this as keep getting called away. lol.:rotfl:
Will have to go back and read more posts :D
    ((HUGS TO ANYONE))
    ..xx
I am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A

I love looking at all these pretty things :D You are so talented.

Can I ask a question that might seem dumb to you clever ladies....you know when you're making a journal jar and you give them the notebook, how do you cover it? What kind of notebook do you buy? Just a plain one?

I really want to buy some of those gorgeous pretty papers and do something with them...i'm going to order some off ebay. Does anybody have any suggestions or should I just find some that I think are pretty? Is ebay the best place to get them? Thanks :D
 Think happy & you'll be happy

Mel Get well soon xxxx ... I have just said to OH I feel funny ... I have stomach cramps and I am hoping it is just a passing thing! ...

Aurora VO is rubbish for me aswell, to the point I have given up from it and mark the mails as spam now! I am on £6 with one poll though so still a fair way to go for £40 but worth it as it has taken me about 1 week to get £6 :)

These are 2 (well almost 2, I have another Jar to do) out of the 4 journal jars I need for mothers day .... I made matching bookmarks aswell :)

  • Hi all - I just dont believe it I missed the second Rudolph Day  - so to make up for it I have spent the last hour updating my book of Christmas / Birthday / Special events lists and added more onto to it - will be better for next month I promise.:A

Mel and Bunbun - I have quite a severe dairy intolerance (one of many things I cant have) but I just cant give up chocolate - I have had to give up so much that is my one and only treat and I suffer the consequences almost immediately. I am really ill tonight but have no idea what I have eaten or drunk that is so bad - it really gets me down - so I really feel for you if you have that same thing.

Have found some excellent football flannels on ebay for my sons party - so am doing sporty cakes for all the angels and they were a great price - and different from anything anyone has ever done - yippee!

Take care of all your little ones it sounds like there are lots of bugs flying around at the moment - speak soonx
