I made a card for a friend today, I find I make a lot of cards, they come out nice then I give them away and forget what I've done so I've taken a photo. I've made a second one exactly the same to keep in the file for my car boot sale or for another birthday. Anyway that's cash saved on buying a card and she's on the nursery run so I'm going to post it myself - save a stamp.0

Hi all,
Thanks for the Dr Who link, got to go & check if thats the one I got in the boots sale or not, lol - Theres a couple of us with Dr Who fans to buy for on here, I think the other one is SarahF? p&p is £4.50p
Also Furry, thanks for giving all NEC goers a yell to go look at the facebook group to get a date set, I'm ok at organising but really dont like making decisions which might mean annoying people or missing them out.
Hope the Dr can give your mom something to make her feel better Jammy.
Today I'm planning to hide the easter eggs somewhere else before Ds1 gets home from school, & possibly get some christmas pressies wrapped. Going to wrap a few birthday pressies as well, but I can do that when the kids are around, theres no awkward "why arent the elves wrapping them?" questions with birthdays. You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -
jammy sorry to hear about you mum, hope you got a bit further with the gp and that she is on the mend
Rainmac I should have another sort thru my stash as there is some I will never use and maybe someone somewhere would like it!!
Sylph hope the Dr Who thing is helpful and I think there is a code for free postage that has worked in the past will pm you with it
Kids both survived school and I survived work so so far so good today!! Must sort out NEC date with you gals as I need to get organised

EEK Aurora!! You are so sweet I am blushing!! Thank you very much for your support.
The creativity life magazine is out now (The one I am in) from all Docrafts stockists and Hobbycraft. Should be able to get it at the NEC *cough* hahah!!
Was in Telford yesterday for my sisters birthday and feel so tired and run down now because of all the early starts/late nights but I am happy
The nursery take notes on the children and then make a display from photographs and notes to show you what they got up to. Logan was asked 'what is your favourite thing at home?" and he said ' My mommy.. oh and R2D2' I could cry!! He loves me!!!!
The facebook thing does my head in.. you better have all agreed on a decision by the time I wake up in the mornin or I will grass you all up for your future extortionate non-necessary craft purchases
I hope everyone is happy. I did read and thank every one of your posts but it has all blurred into one fog in my mind now. The no computers worked brilliant and the migraine went. I had to see the DVD menu today to put Cars on for Logan and it came on again ARGH. Lee keeps saying 'oh no its a brain tumour' as a joke.. yes very funny mr marshall!!:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
