aren't we all lovely people on here! (including myself of course!)
I've never been involved with 'virtual' friendships before this although was a nosey lurker and read everyday!
It amazes me that we would probably walk past each other on the street and not know each other but on here we feel free to share our feelings and moans and groans.
I think it is lovely and our virtual friendships are very thrifty and gifty!0 -
I agree with choccy
((((GROUP HUG))))
PLM, I always liked the marshmallow man, I'm sure he'd feel like those cushions filled with tiny polystyrene balls if you hugged him.
Though I reckon you'd feel just as nice to cuddle, you are NOT that big.
Have put my dvd/cd barcodes on magpie & 13 were accepted for £9 in total. Have clicked off for now to think about it. Have checked ebay & they're either not selling on there, or once you've taken p&p off the prices are very similar. Do I let them some of them go at such a low price (1 as low as 15p!!!) as they are just sitting there doing nothing anyway, or do I sell & be grateful for a bit of cash for something I wont miss.
Thank you Aurora, must be working already as my mom popped over & almost fell asleep, lol. Just need to sort his room out so his cotbed will fit in, its a fairly small room which he's just been using as a play room at the moment, but he's got things like his tent up so they need putting down. Also need to work out how to turn his cot into a bed - my fil put it together & glued it so it was "safe", so now we have to try & take it apart without damaging the soft pine too much.
If you want to try ebay again I will try & help you as much as possible. You do get some jerks, & paypal seemd to be directed more to help the buyer than the seller now, but I find majority of people are good. Take a look at the ebay & auctions board, its great for picking up tips, & spotting scams.
Welcome home Furry, I bet the thought of your own bed is making it even harder to stay up isnt it.
I decided my blog would help me release the garbage in my brain, & show off a bit if my crafts, so yeah, it'll probably get abit personal at times. As soon as I was out the shopping centre I was fine again, kinda goes with a deep breath of fresh air & a good shake to shake it all off, lol.You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -
Just signing in to say evening to everyone
Hugs to those who need themHaven't had a chance to catch up properly as we have just got in from shopping and I have to start work in just over an hour (FIL called and asked me to do the early shift and him do my normal 8pm one ) yay extra pennies!
Will try and catch up when I get home if I am not too knackered. If I don't get on I hope you all have a lovely couple of days, I won't get a chance tomorrow as we are up and off to Basingstoke for OH's interview on Monday ...
See you all when I get backxx

Thanks for all your good wishes and HUGS. I've had a lovely day with my boys, curled up under a blanket with the dog and had a nice afternoon nap, and my OH is taking me out for dinner and few glasses of vino. I keep thinking of my friend and remembering good times but that keeps upsetting me so a bit up and down today.0

So sorry goochie, can you send a card to the family? sometimes just doing something helps you through it
I saw my friend today, dropped her present off after checking the Thrifty Gifty bookShe loved her handmade card too.
Next event for me is Poppa Tart's birthday and Mother's day, both of them are getting a Journal Jar, and I might make one for myself too

Lots of people seem in need of hugs so here you go... :grouphug:
I've had a good day, got some WTP baby bits from Matalan for my nappy cake (I am very early cos the baby isn't due until July but I'm so excited that my friend is having a baby after being told it wasn't possible), few threads for cross stitch from Hobbycraft, costs more than online stores but wanted them NOW so paid the extra bit. My big boy is coming home from my mum and dad's tomorrow morning and then I'm taking him to a little boy's party - first one of 6 parties in 6 weeks
I finally got through my mountain of ironing, all of it ironed and in the wardrobes, fab
I am going to make myself a cuppa, turn on ITV cos Bourne Identity is going to be on soon and I like those films and I've got 3 smallish wedding stationery orders to make up for next week so that will be me for the rest of the night.
PLM - thank you for saying what you read about MS. It's not something I talk about with anyone except my OH really. I do worry all the time what will happen if I can't do this or that or have to use a wheelchair etc but I then have to snap out of it and keep going and what's around me enables me to keep going. I also love your photo
Take care everyone x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
To those asking about the free shower thingy, this is the address -
http://ekmpowershop9.com/ekmps/shops/eagashop7/index.asp
It doesn't work with electric showers though. I think it was on freestuff.co.uk or on mse, one or the other.
Big hugs to goochie and everyone else who needs them:grouphug:
dd watched her film twice this morning - so well worth 50p.
I went to get my new contact lenses today so I parked about 10mins away from the town to save the car park ticket. At the opticians the lady said to fix the pads on my glasses would cost 3.00 but the nice man who served me said it was ok so 5.00 saved on my trip. Then when I got back I had another 10 cinema tickets in the post from coke zone - that's 18 tickets altogether - woohoo - might try flogging some cos we'll never use them all ourselves.
PLM - I've put so much weight on since I had dd (I will blame her entirely when she's older!) that my facebook profile picture is 5 years out of date. My sis in law posted a photo of me taken at christmas where my belly looks huge and I have the grossest double chin - I nearly died when I saw it, but I left it cos I love her to bits - just made sure nobody comments on it or eerybody would be able to see it
Wonder what mse things will come my way tomorrow
Jammy - what's your martin book like - have wanted to buy them for ages but wasn't sure if they were any different from what we already read on the forum??0
