Got loads to do anyway, wil not bore you all with the list...
The new Segal film was a bit gorey last night more Horror Film than Action:eek: , think he ony had about 4 lines in the entire film, Don't think it will be one I will buy... but if you like horror films and lots of gore it wasn't that bad.
Right then I'm off to do my jobs, will let you know how I get on later
Enjoy the Day

hi all - have had such a great mse few days.
We planned to go to a play area and out for lunch yesterday which I really couldn't afford but dad decided he was treating us all so...= money saved.
In the post I got another free cinema ticket from coke zone - I have 8 or 10 now - lost count... (taking 3 friends out next week with them), they run out in march but it's free entertainment for me, dd and dh til then...=money saved.
Also got my music magpie cheque finally - 45.86 = towards money neutral gifts
did another couple of surveys so am ready to claim another 10 voucher from ipsos = towards money neutralgifts
went to get blockbuster dvd out for dd - she chose oliver and company for 2.00, then woman at desk said if you want it for just 2 days instead of a week it only costs 50p = money saved
Got my tesco shop delivered last night and it let me redeem a code I found on mse for 12.00 off = money saved
also in the post I got a free shower device that saves water therefore saves gas - it claims to save you 20.00 a year but will last about 20 years or so...=money saved
Wonder what I can do today to be mse...or gift neutral0 -

Aurora hope you are feeling better this morningLP is a Lumbar Puncture so a massage wouldn't really work, apart from that I can't reach my back with my own arms and if I asked OH he would probably think I was asking him to kill me lol .... I have BIH which is Benign Intercranial Hypertension, or too much fluid on my brain, first started 6 years ago when my son was 2 months old and I lost all vision and was rushed to hospital .... funny really cause my GP up in Manchester kept sending me home and telling me it was just a headache and go take some paracetamol ... I gave up trying to see him after the 6th time .... 3 weeks later I end up in hospital
At least I know what it is now ... my last one (5th) was when I was pregnant with my daughter, they told advised me to have a termination (which I couldn't do) so they told me I had to have a Csection (which I didn't want cause I had to think about how to care for my son and also a newborn as OH and I weren't together then as he left me when I was 13 weeks pregnant!) so I rebelled against everything :rotfl: and did everything how I wanted to do and gave birth normally with only gas and air
I think I was about 27 or 28 weeks pregnant when I had to have my last one.
Sarah, enjoy the clearout of your treasure! We could do with another one to be honest but I hate sorting out the kids toys cause they hold so many memories for me .....
Scattymam how very MSE of youfantastic! Enjoy your cinema and your blockbuster film
Morning Rainmac, hope you have a lovely day with your youngesthe will love having mummy all to himself

OMG, is there anything they can do to get rid of some of the fluid so the migraines don't happen? Is there anything you can do to prevent them, what triggers them? Sorry too many questions
Thomas is starting to get cross cos I spent the last hour sorting out DVDs to sellGoing to get ready and go into town in a bit. Rusty, do you know of a good place to look for Winnie the Pooh baby stuff like blankets/towels?
Speak to you all later:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Good morning all, you've been very busy.
I had a bad day yesterday, still off sick, ended up looking after a friends dog, who was waaaay to excitable all day and harassed my dog, and then peed on my carpet.
Then my OH took our dog to the vets and on the way back another dog decided to join them, he had obviously broken free from it's owner and it was HUGE, some sort of mastiff/bulldog cross. My OH walked around the park for an hour trying to find the owner but to no avail, so he ended up bringing him home. As I already had 2 dogs in a 1 bedroom flat and we didn't know this dog, we had to tie him up outside and call the dog warden, who didn't turn up until 10.30pm, the poor thing was so distressed, so we spent half the night on the patio with him, he was riddled with fleas and rather stinky, but hopefully he got a warm bed, dinner and a bath at Battersea Dogs Home last night. Thy will let us know if he is claimed otherwise they will try to re-home him (not micro-chipped). We let the dog in to give him some water and he peed on my carpet too!
In the middle of all of this I received a phone call from the sister of an old friend of mine, to tell me that she had died the day before. I feel so sad, she was only 40 and I didn't even know she had been ill she had been in hospital since December, (I don't know why), but she died of a secondary infection caught in hospital. We hadn't been in touch for a few years other than a note in christmas cards, but strangely enough the day she died I decided to look and see if she had a page on facebook.
I have vowed that I will contact all my old friends and keep in touch, life is too short. It's the 5th anniversary if my dad's death this week, so was feeling a little blue anyway (he was only 62 when he died very suddenly).
Today is beautiful and sunny and I am going to spend the day with my boys (OH and dog!), and just enjoy being alive.
Sorry for the ramble.

Wasnt in the best of moods this morning, another bad night with LO. Atm he's in his cotbed in our bedroom as he always wakes for a drink in the night, but he has started putting his heel on the top bar & trying to lift himself up to climb out. He's a giant for his age (2 at the end of March but almost out of his age 2-3 clothes) & very strong so it wont be long until he manages it. He cant have a bed in our room as it isnt totally toddler safe, so he'll be moving into his own room. In some ways this makes me happy, then I think that it now means I have to get up & walk around in the night to deal with him rather than sitting up, passing him his drink & taking it off him. I feel I'm suffering from sleep deprivation at the moment as the past week its been worse than normal, getting up in the nights going to wake me up totally.
I'm feeling far better now though, have sorted my ebay clothes into washing piles, put a load in & have been thinking of how to group the up to list. Shall start with accesories, e.g bags, shoes, etc, then a couple of days later put Mens Jeans on, then coats a couple more days later etc.
I wish I could put it all on in one go but I have to think about how much the pushchair can carry to the post office, lol. & I dont fancy going up EVERY day.
Wish I could use the cinema tickets from coke zone, but it would take a train journey to get to that type of cinema, which would cost more than a ticket to our local Odeon, lol. Well done on all your savings.
Thanks Aurora, want to send some relaxing angels to my LO after 7 tonight to help him get a good nights sleep?
Inspired by Rainmac, after lunch I'm going to sort out MY dvds & cds to see what they fetch on magpie/ebay, if its a nice amount I'll show OH & hope he'll do his on his day off tomorrow.
(((big hugs goochie))) I hope today is a happy, peaceful one for you.You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -
I had to stop what I started doing, Rusty - I am so sorry, I didn't realise that it was what I know by the name of spinal tap. My goodness, I can't find the words for what I want to tell you. I hope that you generally manage well, I mean I am in no way in as much of a health problem as you are but I have some muscles missing right at the bottom of my spine and so my back, neck and hips keep coming out, very painful but I mean I am mobile most times thank goodness but I really hope that your condition (even though it sounds quite scary) doesn't stop you from being active.
Rusty, my dearest girl - I wish you that you get to the point when you can feel you are ok physically, and I wish I could help somehow but I am no specialist so I am sending my whole mass of healing angels, I hope they will fluff their wings at you really well and they'll make you better. Other than that, I am now and I'll keep sending you lots of positivity and stregth, love and warmth. Take good care. xxx
Thankyou Aurora, it doesn't affect me too much which is quite lucky although if I get a migraine start then it generally lasts for a few weeks, if it lasts any longer then I know that I need to get in touch with the doctor/hospital. I think because I have had so many LP's that I generally know the feeling of when it is time for another rather than just a bad migraine caused by it if that makes sense. I do have to be careful though as it has damaged my eyes and I now have abnormally large blind spots on in both eyes, but day to day it doesn't stop me being active or anything unless I can't move for pains in the eyes! Thankyou for your lovely angels, when I read your posts I always think of little angels flying around youxx
