Hello everyone :D. Well my OH is currently in the air on his way to Dubai and I've taken DS1 to my mum and dad's today, he's coming back Sunday morning so until then it's just me and little DS2 who has fractured his collarbone. I'm hoping to spend some quality time with him without his bigger brother muscling in and taking over everything - I love him to bits but he does like to take over everything  That said I think we will venture to town tomorrow and have a wander about.

Got some ideas in my head of Mother's Day pressies and Easter card designs (mostly out of current issue of Cross Stitch Crazy). Pressie for MIL won't be homemade as she doesn't appreciate it so need to think of what to get her, she is a woman who does nothing and doesn't appear interested in anything. Presents are always a nightmare, may be a framed pic of the boys if I can't think of anything else. As for MD cards, I saw a fab design in Crafts Beautiful (don't usually buy it but treated myself to a couple of mags as OH was going away, got some Cadbury's Bubbly chocolate to enjoy whilst reading them too ;)). The card is simply M U M is big chipboard letters, tied together with ribbon and decorated. I think it looks fab and am going to try and source the letters as the company used for the example only sells whole alphabets and I only want 3 letters (or 6 if I feel guilty and make one for MIL too).

Sorry, am I going on, yep I am I know

PLM - hope you feel much better soon, take as much time as you need but please come back as soon as you're better cos we will miss you loads :p

Rusty - LPs are rough, can't believe you've had to have 5, you poor thing . I've had one as a test for Multiple Sclerosis and it confirmed I have it, along with a few other lovely tests . I was fine with the actual LP procedure but was ill for a week afterwards, felt terrible. Really hope you can make it to the NEC, I've just realised that OH is working on the Saturday so if we're meeting up that day I will have to try and sort something out for the boys.

Sarah - give your landlord a super big kick up the ****

Furrypig - enjoy your last hours in the sunshine state (that is Florida isn't it?). Glad you got all your crafty stuff packed, looking forward to seeing some fab bits and bobs from you when you're back ;)

Aurora - I LOVE pancakes but in a very traditional lemon and sugar way (sometimes with lime chucked in too). I make my own and we sometimes have them for breakfast at the weekend with bananas and chocolate spread. My OH works for an IT company called Aurora, been meaning to mention that for ages and now I have ;)

I never get to see/meet anyone famous :( but OH works on the Ant & Dec show so gets to hob nob with the C list celebs on there. He's not happy that he's in Dubai for the next 2 shows and will miss the end of series party as it's the same day as DS1's 5th birthday party and I laid the law down that he couldn't miss his son's party :D

I can't eat chocolate at this time of night.........it gives me heartburn and I'd be up all night, so go for it........eat that whole BIG bar by yourself!.......honestly, you'll be doing me a favour!

Sarah - OMG!!! that's just plain stupid, I mean is your landord broke or something? Just doesn't make sense. Anyway, you should remain calm, you paid your bills, you've got the proof - so stuff the landlord. I hope, it'll get sorted quickly. Sending you loads of little helpers of mine. :-)

Thanks aurora, I have calmed down now, and all the stress has gone. Like you said his fault not mine, why should I worry....

Thanks for the little helpers :A

As for Pancakes, gotta be the Lemon and sugar or the Golden Syrup
