No 3 pages of gossip to catch up on today, have just been a pig and a bad mother all rolled into one and stolen an easter egg from one of my children......just had a serious notion for chocolate and I'm now doing virtual excercise watching OH on wii fit......not sure if that counts.
Had a seriously busy day at work and was glad to get finished at 3pm. then had to grab kids and go to primark to return stuff, about a 20 mile round trip I could have done without. Anyway, doggie is away to my mums for week so I need to get hoovered up and floors washed now.
Mostly packed and need to get into frantic mode later on.....I do it every holiday.
we are taking web book with us but don't know if we'll be able to use it, depends if there's wifi anywhere. So i will catch up on all your news when I come back, hope you all have a lovely easter weekend.
Jammie: thinking of you....make sure Mr jamtart takes care of you x0 -
Jammy - I'm so sorry to hear your news. Thinking of you xx
I was banished from the house this morning as oh was doing some diy, so I went to the trafford centre . I hate crowded places but it was fine when I got there at 10.30, but by 12.30 it was awful, so I had to ring oh to check I was allowed home :rotfl:Thankfully he said yes :rotfl:
Sending hugs to all that need them at them moment x and hoping everyone enjoys the rest of the easter weekend0 -

We were going to go to the Trafford Centre one day last week but then the thought of how busy it would be put us off! It's busy enough anyway but during the school holidays, I dread to think!! Think happy & you'll be happy

hi all - would love to hear more on the growing aurora - really want to do this - I have potatoes chitted and ready to go, I have a herb garden growing, and I have the seeds ready to go for carrots, onions, lettuce, and chillis. Would love to be self-sufficient with veg. Just need a kick up the butt to get them planted!
Feeling weird, dd is at mil's for first time so am missing her. Husband is snoring!!! still.
Watched twilight last night and loved it - can't wait as the next one is out in november.
Won an alex the lion off madagascar for dd's birthday - she's crackers about him at the minute and it was only 2pounds!
My dd's room is totally decluttered now so am about to start on my spare room (my craft stash area) and I still haven't finished my easter baskets so must get on and dig some stuff out for ebay while I'm at it.0 -
Morning everyone, I was without a PC for nearly all of yesterday as ours decided it didn't want to work anymore. Broken hard disk or something. All sorted now with new disk thanks to OH. I've lost all my internet favourites though
I made fudge yesterday and it is yummy. Was quite easy and I have the muscles of Popeye today after all the stirring and beating. I've taken a pic of my fudge as I was so proud I could do it... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/2009/04/finally-made-edible-fudge.html. Looking to make it for Xmas pressies this year with other homemade stuff.
Hope everyone's ok, we've got wet weather again today but it's supoosed to be brighter tomorrow, blooming hope so as I've got little easter eggs to hide in the garden for an egg hunt. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Hi all, just a real quickie, lot to do, just got back from work.
choccie and scatty, marg, rainmac - I'll get back to you about the gardening later on tonight. I'm sorry, don't seem to have much spare time these days. But I'll get back to you later. xxx
Hope everyone is alright. Lots of love. xxx0 -
Rainmac the fudge looks gorgeous! I'm going to try that recipe out next week I think, I've tried making fudge a few times but it never turns out right! I think I might try and get hold of a sugar thermometre first though
It's very quiet on here this weekend, hope you're all having a nice weekend and sending lots of hugs to those that need them:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies
