Thinking of you Jammy, glad he went peacefully.

Good luck with it Shevs, we wanna see piccies when its a lil less red please :)

    How'd you sleep Hayley?

Cats seem to be feeling a bit better. They all ate a little of their dinner last night, & havent been sick for 24 hours (touch wood), Hopefully they'll keep improving & it was a 48 hour virus.

Should get to 8000 points on bingoport today, so thats a £5 amazon voucher. Do you guys redeem immediately or build up a few before redeeming & why?

Hope everyones feeling well & has a good day :)

Hi Sylph. I usually redeem straight away as long as I have enough points to play a few games with that is. You're only allowed to redeem twice in one week anyway although I have not really had enough to do that before. They pay out your redeem on a Thursday so if you can redeem by Wednesday.

I have had quite a few Amazon vouchers now from there (and spent them all on OH's birthday presents).

There's nothing I can say to make it better. I'm thinking of you.

Hugs Jammy at least it was peaceful in the end and you no longer have to worry about him getting the best care.

I'm ok at my job :o. Some days are better than others :D I only take calls for 2 days a week and do other stuff for the other 3 so I don't do it all day every day thank goodness :rotfl:.

We are off to Scotland for the weekend shortly and have night in v posh hotel tomorrow. Am a bit worried that it's so posh that I'll feel uncomfortable :o but OH wanted to treat me and as he's away so much a night in a hotel is no great shakes for him ;)
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

  • Oh Jammy I am so sorry to hear your news hunny.

At somepoint in the future i am sure that you will be able to sit back and feel proud of how hard you all fought for grandad. Take comfort that he went peacefully in his sleep. Then sit back at smile as you remember all the good times which will eventually take over your sorrow. xxxxx

    Hi Girlies,
My lovely lovely Grandad slipped away in the night. He literally did just fall asleep as he was in exactly the same position as when we had left him. He had been so peaceful all day and was fine at 4am, and when the nurse checked at 4.10 he had just fell asleep. Bless him. I prayed so hard for the angels to take him away from the awful suffering and they did. Just wanted to thank you for all your kind messages, particularly everyone who had sent me PMs as well and scattymam for her unfailing ability to help me out when I needed someone. You are all little stars. Thank you xxxxx

Now go and munch some Easter eggs! X
Aww Jammy I am so sorry about your G'dad, but at least he is in peace now and not suffering any longer. I am sending you massive hugs xxxxxxxx

Jammy i'm so sorry for your loss, sending you lots of hugs xx

Sylphraven - Glad you're cats are feeling better :)

I slept really well! :j I didn't go to sleep til about 1.30am but I went to sleep pretty quick then I woke up at 8.50, went to the loo and felt wide awake, I got back in bed but didn't really go back to sleep, just lay there daydreaming and trying to wake my OH up :rotfl:

It's the first morning in a long while that i've felt fresh when i've woken up, I usually feel horrible and groggy. I didn't take my tablet last night so don't know if that's got anything to do with it.

Shev - hope your tattoo went ok and didn't hurt too much! :) Oh and about the cold bedroom, the bedroom's always freezing because my OH won't sleep with the window closed, I have to wear socks to bed!! :rotfl:

Padster - hope you have a lovely time, I love staying in posh hotels but I feel quite uncomfortable in them too sometimes!

I'm in the mood for housework today, I want to finally get the kitchen straight now that beds gone and see if I can find somewhere to put all the stuff that was in the drawers of the old bed. This new bed hasn't got drawers, it has got a bit of room underneath but it's got something going round it so to get under the bed you have to lift it up and it's so heavy! At the moment all the stuff is in the hamsters bedroom and I feel mean because he's only been out in his ball and he likes running around the bedroom. But I don't want him eating my make up or clothes!! :rotfl:

My OH wants to go out somwhere but it's going to rain and if we don't go out he's going to get grumpy, so I really hope it doesn't rain! Think we'll just have a walk to the local fair and play on the arcade machines for a bit.

You know what, I just realised i've got no easter eggs  Think a trip to Asda is in order :D

Anyway i'll stop waffling. have a lovely day everyone :)
 Think happy & you'll be happy
    I :heart2: my doggies
