Hello Furry I'd missed you too! Glad you plucked up courage to come back.

It feels odd when someone goes AWOL 'cos it's not easy to get in touch, there's someone I haven't heard from on another thread I go on & I wonder how she is too.

When we were 'off air' last weekend I caught up with loads of chores & read the paper too so can go with the need for a break especially if you were away.

Welcome back & Happy Easter to you x

Because it's Easter, I won't say too much tonight because it would be a lot and lot of ranting (one hell of an afternoon and please don't ask, and the roast chicken for dinner got ruined as well). Nevermind.

Sorry about not gardening with you all tonight. I wouldn't know where to start really. If I think of anything, I'll mention it. :-) Oh, ordered the free seeds from the digin bbc website. And must start planting potatoes tomorrow, but first need to get the manure from somewhere (not been very organised on that front :-) ). And the mixed salad had to be gently disposed of as it got too leggy. :-( Oh, and the greenhouse needs a good clean before anything goes in - jungle of unimaginable creatures in there). :-)
Very busy day tomorrow (some friends are coming over, as well), so I'll see you all on Monday if I can. Till then, wish me luck please, it is very needed.

Have a great Easter everyone. Lots of love. xx

ETA: Jammy - I got another £1.00 for a survey (home of research)!!! :-) I am doing really well, aren't I? lol

Hi Aurora, you said not to ask so I won't, just hope you're ok. Wish you all the luck in the world x

Hi i'm back thanks for noticing me missing in action ( or in Essex as the case might be!)

Was feeling a bit unsocialble to be honest and purposefully chose not to come here for a couple of days.... meant I did some reading and spoke with people!! I think sometimes its hard to post and I guess we all go through it also think I'm being a bit paranoid about something and it made me feel funny about coming here so wanted to pluck up courage to come back.

think it's a bit better now I'm home but I really appreciate that you and choccy actually missed me!! I think it's so busy here with so many wonderful people doing so well with their challenges etc etc and I am a thrifty failure at the mo so a bit embsarrassed!:o

Of course we noticed  Hope you're ok, never feel funny about coming back here. And don't feel embrassed about the challenge, we're all friends aren't we? I am probably one of the world's most paranoid people so understand how it can make you feel. I am learning to not be so paranoid and be braver but it can be hard.

Our Easter has been a rainy washout so far, boys still not 100% so it's a quiet one for us. Went to Ikea yesterday and bought a wardrobe for DS2, OH put it together last night :D Had a long uncomfortable conversation on the phone with my mum yesterday, not sure why it was uncomfortable but it was. She didn't ask how the boys were and went on and on about irrelevant stuff. No idea why she rang? She is back to the hospital on Wednesday for another pre-treatment radiotherapy check and will be given a date of when her course will start and finish. I didn't ask her about how she's feeling as already know every in and out from loads of previous conversations about it but not sure if she expected me to ask about it. To be honest I didn't have the energy to hear all the same information yet again :o. I will ring before Wednesday, just not yet.

Anyway, despite the rain I am going to venture out into the garden later and hide some little eggs for the boys to find.

    Happy Easter everyone :easter_ba

Oooh what a lovely sunny day it is here in Manchester :D I've been doing some cleaning this morning, I always want to clean when it's nice weather, probably why I never get much cleaning done because it's always wet and cold here!! :rotfl:

I'm waiting for my dad to pop round with his mates laptop so I can set it up for him, I thought my dad was useless with computers, flippin eck he's an expert compared to his mate!! :rotfl:

Then when my OH gets back from footy we are going to the fair :j We don't really go on the rides, he's a wimp and i'm worried i'll hurt my back so we're just going to have a walk and play on some of the arcade machines :D

furry - i'm glad you're back :j don't worry about the challenge, nobody's going to judge anybody who doesn't get loads and I mean, we're all looking rubbish next to our Rusty anyway!! :rotfl: :p:D

Have a lovely day everybody :) xx
 Think happy & you'll be happy

    A couple more:

http://www.saveourbees.org.uk/register.asp (I received this one quite quickly)

https://www.hiddeneden.com/free-seeds.aspx? (Ordered this one in Feb. - haven't received yet)

I find that signing up to regular updates from various freebies websites, even looking here on the freebies board, there are quite a lot of useful things to have for free. I love my gardening and all that so I order free seeds, I got free 4x20 different flower bulbs that Sarah mentioned a while ago (they are planted and some are coming out already), black garlic (this offer is gone now), the telegraph newspaper do offers too (I had a packet of toms, and some other stuff too). Some freebies do turn up, others don't. But I am always happy if anything turns up especially the seeds, they can be quite expensive. Just wish there was an offer for free compost. :rotfl:

The visitors are gone now and I should be getting on with planting those potatoes. But I am feeeeeeeeeeeeling quite tired (meaning lazy :-) ) - it's Sunday. :-)

    Happy Easter to everyone. xxx

Hello - Happy Easter. Its lovely & sunny here in Lancashire - it was yesterday too, OH is sat on patio in shorts! Notice sat - not digging garden or anything useful! I put washer on last night with loads of towels so that I could peg them out early this morning then found today that I'd not actually turned it on! So mad at wasted time.

Confession - I'm not organised & money neutral either - I try to be as money neutral as I can but I will NEVER be organised if I live to be 100 (which I don't want to) I can't function unless I have a tight deadline.

Aurora - I've ordered seeds too Thank you. I LOVE butternut squash.

Rainy - Don't worry about your Mum phoning you she perhaps just felt a bit down & wanted someone to talk too but not for anything specific - my friend & I sometimes have conversations like that - lots of trivia - we can go on for an hour then come off the phone & think what was all that about? but just feel better for the contact. Also remember YOU are entitled not always to feel/respond like the dutiful daughter giving support. xx

On another site I visit they have caturday with LOLcats and you all know how much they make me laugh so I thought I would post a few today :T
If you have seen the film, Twilight, and you enjoyed it.. I beg you to get the books. They are a thousand times better and the film is stupid in comparison. Seriously. Buy them.

Aurora I love you and your posts.. they are like rays of sunshine.. all the cute smiley faces and positivity. If you ever need us just let it out.. you could never be a burden xx:A< This smiley always makes me think of you. I will be starting gardening soon and will definitely need your help!! You are a green-fingered-godess!!

    Catz1453.jpg

Furrypig I PM'd you, I thought you sounded a bit off the other night on MSN and wanted to ask you about it but you went off too quick and I didn't want to be annoying..I really adore you.. don't ever leave us xx Infact screw everyone else.. just don't leave me!!!:rotfl:

    Catz1454.jpg

Rainmac I hope I have never done anything to make you feel paranoid. You are so wonderful all the time and I love reading your posts on here as they are always packed full of information and energy and mommy-ness. Sounds like a perfect easter sunday, just chilling out with the lads :D Hope your mom is OK and you don't feel too guilty over it.. sometimes you just feel too zonked to deal with the pace of a mothers conversation.. trust me.. I have this ALL the time so you aren't mean or anything LOL:o

    Catz1455.jpg

Jammy I have been trying to find the words to send you in a PM but then I thought you would have a hundred PM's and I don't want to give you more work. But then I want to PM you so that you know I care.. but but but. I don't know what to say to you to make it better other then let yourself grieve and know that as rubbish as it sounds, time is the only healer.. so let yourself have time and allow yourself the luxury of a rest. I know you always try to soldier on!! I am so glad your grandad went so peacefully and he will still be at your wedding, but without pain xxx

I know you love LOLCatz too Jammy, hope they cheered you up x

    Catz1456.jpg

Rusty I am so sorry I haven't been around for ages, Just really haven't felt like being sociable and had so much work going on at home that it was hard to keep in touch with anyone without feeling guilty about the other people I lost touch with. I hope you are OK and I am sorry you have been going through a lot lately. I can't believe people read this thread to check up on us.. we are so lovely and mean no harm.. just having fun and being friends. My suggestion to you is to ignore every post they make in future, there is no need to fill your life with arguments.

    Catz1457.jpg

Marg I do that ALL the time and it drives me mad.. or another one.. I will put the washing on but my little monkey of a daughter will turn it off halfway through and I open the machine to a load of sodden washing! I am glad you are having a nice sunny easter.. enjoyed your posts lately, you have been like sunshine x

    Catz1458.jpg

Hayley11 Ahhh you always make me laugh with your jolly posts :) I hope you are feeling in better spirits now and have put the getting up thing behind you x You punished yourself way too harshly. I have been diagnosed with ME but I seriously think it is some kind of depression or personality disorder because my moods fluctuate so much (Like you couldn't tell!!) Anyway, in the morning I literally cry if I have to get up early. That makes me sound ridiculous but you can't understand it unless you have been there... and I think you know that x I sometimes feel so harsh on myself. 18 months ago I was a complete wonderwoman and I raised both of my babies (only 14 months apart) on my own because my OH was going through the worst part of his spinal distortion and couldnt do anything. I would be awake every 30 minutes in the night with the baby and then get up at 6am with a toddler. I did that for 2 years. Now I feel as though I am useless.. I wish I could be that person again and get her back. Some days I am happy just to live life and enjoy it, others.. life is too hard and I don't feel good enough. I think in a lot of ways you are very similar to me as I notice a lot of similarities in your posts that really strike a chord with me. We even go to bed at the same time LOL I just want you to know if you ever need a chat.. I totally get it and you can talk to me x

    Catz1460.jpg

Sylph well done on all your wins my gorgeous twin sister hahaha!! That Rocky road with *GASP* PINK wafers sounds absolutely perfect.. I WANT SOME!! I keep seeing your cake on your blog and feeling so hungry.. you domestic godess. I reckon Ry was only 6' before he met you and you started feeding him. Hope you're having an awesome sunday with not too much family grumbles and moans (visits, visits.. sigh!!) loves you xx

I can't get the bloody christmas emotes to work without screwing up.. in the preview they work fine, in the real thing they add spaces.. Even the HTML coding is fine.
