    Rusty - hope your OHs meeting goes ok and you manage to work something out !!{Hugs}}
  • Well it looks like hugs are needed again today. So huge hugs to Rusty,Sugarspuns granny,Jammys grandad and Mel and her sister.... ( appologies if i have missed anyone)

I havent been around much lately,so appologies for that too. I had a word with Mel last night and Ruth and they have both brought me back smiling again. Its funny you can come on your computer and talk to your virtual friends and everything seems better again. (Mel will shout at me for saying virtual friend :rotfl: She is real everyone...honest ;) ) When offers are made to PM or just offload on here,i hope people know that thats exactly what we mean ? We would all hate to think that our friends feel alone, upset or lost. We all have days when we have had enough of everything and just cant be bothered. I have found so many 'true' friends on here that i know i can always turn too. This thread is such a welcoming friendly place.

Well the sun is shining here in Nottingham. OH bought me a 4 tier mini greenhouse last night so i can grow my seed trays with lettuce and keep my tomatoes nice and warm :D . So now i am all excited and want them to hurry and grow. I feel a scrapbook page coming on. ( About time i hear people cry :rotfl: ) I have 2 door hangers to finish off, for my cousins twins. Also my sons girlfriends best friend has started having contractions 3 weeks early, so i have to get my finger out and attempt to make a nappy cake..... Oooh get me being all crafty ;)

I also ordered my first £10 amazon voucher through Toluna :D its took me aaages to actually get one. As if you dont use your points you tend to loose them, which i didnt know  So i lost about 20,000 points. I have nearly 9,000 again towards another £10 voucher.Only 51,000 to go

I hope everyone has a great day. Im going to stop going on and on now. :o
Well i have had 4 days worth of posts to get out and once i get going there seems to be no stopping me :rotfl:

    xx to everyone

Rusty - Hope everything goes ok with the bank manager, really hope you can get some help so you don't have to move. :)

Mum2one - good on you for sticking up for yourself and making sure you got seen, disgraceful that you had to wait a week and they fobbed you off with mouthwash!

There is no pain (that i've experienced) worse than toothache, I didn't look after my teeth when I was little so all throughout my teens I suffered with terrible toothache, I had a tooth taken out in my early teens and the dentist made such a mess of my mouth (I had a whole in the roof of my mouth, no idea how he did that!) I was terrified of dentists after that so didn't go again til I was 20, by that time my teeth were a mess, luckily I found a really nice dentist and he gave me lots of valium so I had loads of fillings and teeth taken out (i've got loads of teeth missing at the bottom but luckily they're all at the back so you can't really tell) and I don't have toothache anymore :j I used to go every 6 months for a check up and clean but then I started work and had to pay so I stopped going, if I ever had toothache again though, I wouldn't put it off again.

I'm like you though mum2one for standing up to people in shops or on the phone, my OH walks out when he knows i'm going to complain! :rotfl: I don't yell or swear or anything like that but i'm firm and I won't take any shoite from anybody! :D

I ordered some things off ebay yesterday for my MIL's husbands 40th birthday, i'm putting him together a Manchester City/sweets/chocolate hamper, he has a very very sweet tooth. I've ordered him a Maine Road street sign and a silver coin thingy and a dvd of City winning the FA Cup the year he was born. Going to go the Man City shop in Manchester at some point and get some other bits and bobs and then get loads of sweets and choc from the pound shop. :D I've never made a hamper before, going to have a good read of the hamper thread for tips when I get chance.
 Think happy & you'll be happy

Mum2one - so sorry to hear about your ordeal with the dentist, glad you finally got sorted and big happy birthday wishes to you for today, hope you are doing something nice or as it's your birthday, doing nothing can be even nicer ;)

Jammy - blame me for your spending , you'll be thanking me when you are in reciept of those beautiful papers ;) I am a bit worried that some of the ones I've ordered are too beautiful to use? Maybe I could frame them instead  :rotfl:

PLM - lovely to see you back. Sending you and your sister loads of strength to get through the next few days.

Choccy Orange - great to see you back, another scrapbook hey, you've so got the crafting bug, look forward to seeing your new work soon :D

Sugarspun - sorry to hear your grandmother is having a bad time in hospital.

Rusty - blimey, no idea what to say missus, wish I lived down the road or round the corner so could given you a big hug x Have you contacted Citizens Advice at all? If not please, please, please do it, if only to stop me pleading with you... http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/

Have any of you been on the Card Making thread today? The lovely and very talented melissa75 has won the Creative Card Crew blog challenge this week, her card is gorgeous... http://melissa75-melsmess.blogspot.com/

I'm having a day today of doing not very much :o Been to a friend's this morning with DS2 - drank lots of tea and talked lots and going round a friend's of DS1 after school so more drinking tea and chatting whilst kiddies play. Bit lazy but it's nice to do nothing sometimes ;) Will crack on with what needs doing tomorrow.
