JS - no I don't - just because he is your dad doesn't mean that he can treat you like a mushroom (kept in the dark and fed on sh!!) and expect to get away with it. He is the grown up so he should be able to understand right from wrong by now. Maybe he loves both of them but that's no excuse to leave you in the middle. From what you've said you've tried and it's not getting any better - this may be the kick up the backside he needs.

I'll take some pics of my grandbudgies when they're a bit bigger as they are soooooo ugly at the mo and of course they're currently naked .

No matter how bad things are for the rest of you spare me a thought as OH has [STRIKE]man flu[/STRIKE] double pneumonia, avian flu and something else nasty that I can't think of ............................. a cat :rotfl:

plm - for pm - we need people like you to rule this country

jordanshannon - you deserve better - your maturity again amazes me

jammy - I wanted to have my mam at home but she knew my dad wouldn't have coped so she insisted she wanted to go to st.claires. I understand now - we wouldn't have coped with her as well I thought, she needed constant pain relief, the nurses at st.claires provided the emotional support she needed throughout...can you not look into hospice/respite care that is more cancer focused rather than just a home. Trust your instincts then jammy , if you all feel he needs to come home - then do it - it will be hard but you will find strength for it, if you don't feel it's right then you'll sort something else out.

I have been naughty - I FOUND SASSAFRASS papers I've been looking for for ages, I bought !!!

Jamtart noooooooooooooo! You cannot be a Liverpool fan!! They are the scum of the earth (well after Arsenal and Chelsea!) Oh this calls for the end of our friendship i'm afraid! :p:D The only good thing about Liverpool is Stevie G, he's yummy ;) It worries me though because I think my OH would actually leave me for Stevie G if he could  :rotfl:

Baby budgies get fed spewed up stuff by mummy budgies :o.

Then after about 6 weeks they [STRIKE]fall[/STRIKE] glide gently out of the nest box and start feeding themselves.

Not sure you would want us to name them after you as the only ones that have names at the mo are the "special needs" ones. :rotfl:We have 14 and most of them are very similar so its hard to tell them apart.

Colin has a deformed back and can't grow tail feathers so he can't fly very well and George only has one leg need I say more :rotfl:

    Xmas Saver!
A massive thank you ladies for all the birthday wishes, I had a really good day, had a good lie in, lazy afternoon and been to the pub 2ngt for tea, and had a free bottle of wine off the pub. The toothache is a lot better, still niggly, but a better niggly is that sounds daft.

Have been in touch with the PTS trust and they are absolutelty disguisted, so have to write in to my dentist outlining my compliant and copy it to them, once in the system it will be dealt with.

So sorry there are others on here having a bad time, I'm always here if I can help anyone at all out.

Jamtart - send pm in few mins, but I know from your heart that you want to do the best for your grandad, and whatever decision made is hard. My Aunt was recently in a similar postion, with her mum, she was told she couldnt walk and would need 24hr care. They looked into haveing her being cared for at home, but the basic level of care is a carer can pop in for upto 4 times a day, to bedbath etc, to have 24hr care they were quoted £1,200 per week, it is a lot to take on, even if there is u, oh, mum and the other person. I know it seems harsh but would a care home be better, I know its not want you want, but the care level is there, and you can go in as much as you want and be there with ur gdad. Have they got a social worker involved, they would assess the care needed and find suitable accomodation. Going on what my Aunt went through, they were originally told they would have to find their own care home, and may be liable towards costs, the average cost in our area was £750 pw to £1,200 pw. But as social services found the bed, the cost was not an issue.

PLM - I am so sorry for what you are going thorough with ur sister, I wish you both the best and send big hugs

Rustyflange - I hope that everything gets sorted with the house, maybe it oh had let it all built up and like a bottle of coke just exploded, but as the other lady said, def try CAB, and any other options that you can.

Shev - (apologies if got ur name wrong, memory goes with age!!), I am so sorry you have been dragged into the middle of it all with ur parents, your dad should not of put u in that position, it sounds like ur mum is trying to get on with her life re the divorce, is there someone else in the family that u can get some extra support from, I know there ur parents and that will never change but you have to remember that you are a person as well, and you need to be you.

If I have missed anyone plz accept my apologies, and I'm sending big hugs.

Everyone on here to me are my virtual family, and I thank u all for being that, I've recived a lot of support in one way any another and if I can help anyone out plz pm me.xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Hayley - I have Anfield blood running through my veins! :D Stevie G was my fave (still is really) but I do have an odd love for Torres these days - weird!
