Sugarspun - sorry to hear about your grandmother, glad to hear she's feeling a bit better and I hope they start treating her a lot better. I hate seeing people treated badly in hospitals.

Jammy - I have a bone to pick with you! You have introduced this fab new challenge...two days after I made £60 on ebay :rolleyes: :rotfl: I will join in though I'll PM you how much i'm up to, got some things on ebay that finish this weekend.

I've had a really good week (thank you Jammy!) and am looking forward to a nice weekend with my OH. Got a lovely payslip from my ex employer saying they were going to pay me £1248 :eek: :j (does this count towards the new challenge, if it does, I've passed ) Sooooo happy! We're going to buy a new bed tomorrow and get me that Radley handbag on Sunday The rest is being into our savings account.

Typical isn't it, the first time in my life, I have a healthy savings account and the interest rates are rubbish! :rolleyes:

I can't believe MSE is closing for pretty much a whole weekend What will we do?? This is why you shouldn't become so addicted to one website. Hey everyone,

I went to Toys R Us today and needed to call my sister about some DVD's that were cheap. She sounded teary and when I asked what was wrong she was hesitant but then blurted she had just come back from the doctors for her smear results and she has the first stages of cervical cancer. To say my whole world came crashing down would be an understatement. I am so good at dealing with major problems but then I thought about our lives together, I practically raised her and I don't know how I could face my life without her...I just sobbed in the middle of the shop. On the way home I popped into Tesco and instantly see Jade Goody plastered across all the glossy magazines. I'm good now just as long as I don't visit the memories and concentrate on a positive future.

If I can get over cancer, so can she.

Just wanted to let you know I may be away for a bit so you don't think I have left you x

Oh Mel I am so so sorry. I don't know what to say but my thoughts and love are with you and your family. I know it's very hard and I have never been in this situation so it might be easy for me to say, but please try to stay positive. It must be awful seeing all the stuff about Jade now, it must be very hard not to compare them. I feel so sad for you hun and wish I could give you a great big hug. Look after yourself xxx
