I should get my money from love2recycle soon so can that count? I have had 2 e mails from them and neither mention the extra £5 per phone. I did ring and query it and spoke to a really unhelpful person who said I would get it. I will see what I actually receive.
Oh and can I also count the £100 I should get for opening an alliance and leicester account (plus quidco).
I have got more there than I will probably get for the rest of the year!

BunBun don't panic about it they did this with me, I also got an email saying they had done something on the cheque and it was wrong so wouldn't cash this was 3 days after I had paid it into my bank ... it cleared and all was fine and it all arrived with extra £5 on each phone price :D

urgh, just found out a lad I went so school with is having chemo for the dreaded big-C he only got married last year, its bloody awful -24!! I am edging closer to booking a smear test because I need to have one, but SOO dont want to go and get it done. I will shortly find my confidence and just ring the docs up and do it and not cancel it like I cancelled my fillings!

EDIT: BOOKED! and will keep appt if it doesn't clash with anything else going on down there TMI :)

Well done Jammy on booking your smear, it really is fine, I've had loads done. Where do you live, I'll come and hold your hand :D

Blimey, goes without saying Jammy ;)

I had to go and have some treatment done 'down there' and I was lying on this very high up bed with my legs akimbo and suddenly noticed a very large TV in front of me that was turned on and I could see what looked like skin on it. I asked the doctor what it was and she said "oh we find it helps lots of people if they can see what I'm doing down here so we record the procedure and show it as it's happening". It was my bits on the big screen  I shouted something like "turn it off" which they couldn't do so turned the TV round :D Where was the blooming camera that's what I wanted to know  After this fiasco, a group of about 20 trainee doctors came into the room and asked if they could observe the procedure. I was very stressed at that point and said absolutely not :o

Update: my grandmother is doing much better. She's off oxygen, although it is available if she needs it, and my careful coaching of my mother (I gave her some phrases to repeat to the doctor) has ensured a plentiful supply of IM and oral painkillers.

The balloons arrived and made the other aul' ones jealous, and the removal of the oxygen mask allowed her to complain so strenuously about the noise and food stench from the opposite bed that those visitors and their old dear were banished to the day room.

She's still swollen and sore, but she's much better, and she found it in herself to be rude both to and about someone today, so apparently she's on the mend. Hurrah for stubborn old bones!
