Wind flapping - where did you give birth??? A field??? Tell us more ;) :rotfl:

Thank god for that ... OH refused to cancel it as we are tied into a contract :rotfl:

Hmmm you know what I mean ... first time round it may aswell have been a field, horrible midwife telling me not to push ... PAH she should have tried sitting there giving birth and being told not to push! ... Tom's dad was sleeping on a chair in the corner and my mam was absolutely fantastic! without her I don't know what I would have done ......

Second time .... I was on my own ... had split up with OH when I was 12 weeks pregnant :( .... went through hell in pregnancy with LP's etc ... then the time came... and went ... and eventually I had to go in on the tues .... I was bored out of my skull ... they tried to start me off but stubborn Maddison was staying in there .... They sent my mum home at 11pm said nothing was going to happen ..... then 1am after I had to shout the whole length of the ward to get someone to help me (my button didn't work and I was at the far end of the corridor and couldn't get off the bed they had put up at full height :() My mum had a phone call .... she got there at 2:30am and at 4:19am Maddison shot out and was luckily caught by the midwife (very very fast little madam!) She has her birthday after her grandads, and shares her birthday with her great grandad (83 years between them!) OH didn't even see her til she was 3 days old ...

Morning everyone, have just put my sewing machine away after 2 days of sewing. I have made:
    3 curtains
    2 duvet covers
    a head board cover
    2 fitted sheets
    4 aprons
    & a book bag

I have also split a large throw in half for my chairs, made multiple repairs on clothing & sewn a few throws together to cover our bed during the day. Feel worn out today!

I'm up for the challenge Jammy, starting from scratch please.

    (((((Plums)))))

  • I'm so sorry to hear of everyones bad news - my thoughts are with you all

Jammy sign me up for the challenge, still have a few things left to ebay, so will do them on Thursday.

I'm at work until 2 o'clock today, then going out for dinner with new man tonight, have 50% staff discount voucher to use by end of month so my treat! Then on to the pub I used to work in, as they always have a band on a Saturday night.

Two more hours and I am on holiday for a whole week!!!

Bikerchick is it the corset tonight?

Have a lovely evening and enjoy your week off next week ;)

I have just sold something else on ebay so another £3.80 to add to the challenge ;)

Big thankyou to Jammy as you have made me pull my finger out. I have 2 large lots of kids toys to list on ebay over the weekend, and a set of brand new pans which I bought cheap then moved in with OH so they are still sat in the box and only one ever got used, should get about £70 for them! I had 9 boxes of booty stuff go to a freecycler this morning so that gives me some space. I have 1 xbox to list on ebay, and 2 pushchairs to list aswell  I think I need to be ebaying whilst I watch for F1 qualifying!

  • No Rusty I don't think I'll wear the corset tonight, but now you've suggested it, I'm tempted!

Am in serious need of the week off, been doing a stupid amount of hours lately and am in need of sleep

Oooh it's very quiet in here today. Are you all out in the RL? Hope it's not too wet where you are, it's horrid here.

I bought a new bed today, a lovely king size, faux leather sleigh bed including a decent mattress. The leather is cream, wanted something quite plain so can have whatever colour bedding I want.

And I was very MSE and haggled £50 off the price :j

Haven't done much today apart from going to buy the bed, fell asleep reading Harry Potter before while OH was at footy. I'll have to go and do the washing up soon so i've got stuff clean to make tea.

Hope everybody is okay :) xx

I've been packing my old apartment all day. It's all packed now, still needs to be cleaned but is packed at least and all stacked up in the living room. We brought the bulk of it over here this afternoon and will get the rest tomorrow.

Grandmother continues to improve, younger brother is sulking because I mocked him for listening to Take That, husband is playing a Mafioso game on Facebook instead of making dinner, infant is kicking merrily.

I'm starving. It is unfair to deny me of food, especially when I need the food to be done so I have the energy to tackle the unpacking. Hmph.

It's not the same round here this weekend - there's not much going on - I'm missing everyone.

We're going to a car boot sale today with a budget to see what bargains we can get, just for something fun to do.

dOES anyone do dooyoo, I just joined and wanted to know what the crack was - do your reviews have to be expertly written. I'll have to look on mse and see if there's a thread about writing reviews!!

Get my hubby - he's after grolier christmas ornaments at the car boot sale today!!! he's getting as organized as me about christmas. I'm looking for really good condition kids book on the cheap and new purses and Libby is looking for BRATZ - as she said herself.
