Get my hubby - he's after grolier christmas ornaments at the car boot sale today!!! he's getting as organized as me about christmas. I'm looking for really good condition kids book on the cheap and new purses and Libby is looking for BRATZ - as she said herself.

well done hayley on your ebay sales:T I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books:o but my two boys have watched the films numerous times - in fact they are watching one now!

did you get any bargains from the car boot scatty? which one did you go to? the weather was lovely for it!

sugarspun what a horrible landlord for ignoring your notice therefore meaning you will have to pay an extra month's rent. well done for making sure that doesn't happen:T pleased to hear that your grandmother is getting better.

thanks for letting me know about the extra £5 cos it makes quite a difference:D just got to get my act together with ebay. think I will leave that till after Easter as we are going away and there isn't really enough time before we go (if I want things on for 10 days). I will do the National Childbirth Trust nearly new sale first and see what sells there.

yes you label and price it all, leave it and then go back 2 hours later and collect anything unsold. the only pain is that they take a percentage:( but it is their fundraiser!

car boot was pap - 5 rows of cars instead of the usual 50ish. dd blagged 2 bratz dolls cheap and my hubby got a huge tigger with an easter egg all wrapped in cellophane for seven pounds for dd for easter, so no real cheap bargains but the stuff we got was nice.

looking for ladies purses mum2one - saw some on ebay for 99p free p and p and just missed out on them though

Have not been around much as I am trying to do a big de-clutter at home at the moment - it was my bedroom today and am pretty pleased with it now..

Jammy what is the challenge exactly? will try to go back further later, but just in case I don't get there I would love to join if it means raising a bit of cash...I do have a couple of things on ebay at the moment, but need to get my butt in gear and sort out some more listings...


Does anyone have any good advice re selling mobiles? I have a couple to get rid of and they are only cheapyish ones but in good condition...is ebay the best place do you think?

Evening..

Wish I could my myself organised and get some stuff on ebay!! I was going to give all the baby stuff to my SIL who has just announced she is pregnant again :eek: (don't ask!!!!!!!) but just found out that her and her fiance have split up again and she is doing my in laws head in so I've got my spiteful head on and going to make some money for US!!!!! Honestly she is a nightmare she can't cope with the one child she's got and my in laws are bringing him up and now she is single and pregnant (different dad) AGAIN!! Bearing in mind that she is still married to the father of her first child :eek::eek:

Sorry for the rant but just had to get that off my chest.

Well i've made a neutral 3 tier cake today and have another one to make this week:D
I've decluttered the utilty cupboard and put some clothes out for Noah's Ark.

I'm starting to stress a bit though we are going on hols in 10 weeks and I really need to buy us all new clothes to go . I love being fashionable but I'm really struggling to find anything at the mo to fit my large breastage!!! I'm also stressing about how much its all going to cost!! I've just borrowed my neighbours Next directory and going to pick everything I like and tot it all up :eek: - not very MSE though but I am going to shop smart.

Sorry to hear about the car boot Scattymam - I've stopped doing them as the last 2 I went to were rubbish!!
