    Hi guys,
Quick notice about the £75 challenge, I dont always get a chance to read every post. Therefore if you want to add any pennies to your challenge pot you need to tell me in a PM otherwise I won't add it to the 1st post because I can't guarantee to read each post.

Hope you understand thanks gang :)

Hello everyone and thank you all for your good wishes , I have read through and smiled at them all!

I woke up this morning and said out loud 'I Am 40' in an affirmative and accepting manner.
I have had the most amazing day , after the initial hectic rushing around trying to get sorted. We had an absolute houseful, about 40 including adults and kids all over the house.
I was given lots of lovely gifts and cards and had a lovely time opening them all.

my cupcakes were gorgeous , even though i say so myself! I had them on 3 tiers of cake stands and took photos...will try to get them on here but will need the technical skills of a much younger husband to show me.....he's not 40 till the summer! I had sparklers instead of candles which took ages to light but were then all lovely and sparkly!

I have a day off work tomorrow which I am looking forward to. I will go into town without kids in tow and can take my time having a mooch round the shops, not that our town centre has much going for it at the moment but anyway....!

Hope you've all enjoyed your weekend catch you all tomorrow, mhags x

car boot was pap - 5 rows of cars instead of the usual 50ish. dd blagged 2 bratz dolls cheap and my hubby got a huge tigger with an easter egg all wrapped in cellophane for seven pounds for dd for easter, so no real cheap bargains but the stuff we got was nice.

looking for ladies purses mum2one - saw some on ebay for 99p free p and p and just missed out on them though

sods law re ebay, I was thinking of you got some purses left over from dds party bags, small purses, with wrist strap, u could have them if they'd be any gd.

    Evening..

Wish I could my myself organised and get some stuff on ebay!! I was going to give all the baby stuff to my SIL who has just announced she is pregnant again  (don't ask!!!!!!!) but just found out that her and her fiance have split up again and she is doing my in laws head in so I've got my spiteful head on and going to make some money for US!!!!! Honestly she is a nightmare she can't cope with the one child she's got and my in laws are bringing him up and now she is single and pregnant (different dad) AGAIN!! Bearing in mind that she is still married to the father of her first child :eek:

Sorry for the rant but just had to get that off my chest.

Well i've made a neutral 3 tier cake today and have another one to make this week:D
I've decluttered the utilty cupboard and put some clothes out for Noah's Ark.

I'm starting to stress a bit though we are going on hols in 10 weeks and I really need to buy us all new clothes to go . I love being fashionable but I'm really struggling to find anything at the mo to fit my large breastage!!! I'm also stressing about how much its all going to cost!! I've just borrowed my neighbours Next directory and going to pick everything I like and tot it all up  - not very MSE though but I am going to shop smart.

Sorry to hear about the car boot Scattymam - I've stopped doing them as the last 2 I went to were rubbish!!

Good luck with the holiday shopping, we (dd and me) go in 10days :T , thou nightmare getting sorted, took her shopping yesterday  we made £40 selling some of her clothes on ebay, so that got reinvested in Next sale, then we hit Primark, meant to be a couple of tshirts, 2 bikinis or swimsuits......... ended up with 4 dresses, 2 bikinis, swimsuit, tshirts, jeans, 4 bags later £60 down.......... told her she could have £20. but bless her when we got home, she gave me £10 out of her pocket money and said could i buy that dress myself, :A , so that started me off in tears!!
Me I had planned to hit Evans, need a new swimsuit, did we get there, no we didnt........ took dad with us, (really to carry the bags), we went to Telford, and he hates it.......... 5 hrs later we left.......
So it be Evans online...........got to be gd and not buy too much!! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Shelley – that is awful about your friend, i have no idea how you would deal with something like that. How awful

Sugarspun – glad she liked the balloons(&attention!) and is on the mend!

Sylphraven & rufusdog &bikerchick– all added to the challenge – thank you!

Rusty – the gifts your son made are lovely!! I am resetting your target to £500 as £75 is ridiculously low! Well done you!

Hayley – the bed sounds nice,we have a faux leather black sleigh bed – no idea what colours we will put with it!! The bag is really nice too! Are we on for motivation Monday tomorrow?

Bunbun2 – well done for the £33, do you want me to add to your total??

Mhagster – HAPPY 39+1th birthday !!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you had a fab day! Life begins here!

Mum2one – have you tried Dorothy Perkins online? They have 20% off voucher (so do Evans at the moment too) and free del.

Rainmac – of course you can add the £2.50, I will make a note of it now for you. If you get any more can you PM me instead than-Q !!
