I got myself an absolute bargain on Saturday. Went to jumble sale to hunt for stuff I can ebay for profit (didn't find any) but got a pair of Armani jeans for 10p and a gorgeous skirt BNWT for 10p. Original ticket said £105
Then went to Matalan last night after work and bought another skirt for a tenner. Normally live in jeans and combats but like to dress like a woman for new man. Dead chuffed though, as am finally back in a size 12
wow what a bargain bikerchick!! thanks i feel a bit less guilty. I have battled with half a stone for most of my adult life (after losing 2 stone, the last half stone just wouldnt go, and i yo-yo a lot) so I have basically a whole new wardrobe that I could wear if I could just fit into it by losing half a stone, but I am completely unable to do this! I have suffered with my stomach for ages, so now it is finally feeling a bit better, I dont want to risk dieting and messing up my system again. So my wardrobe is packed but it doesnt fit me, but throwing the stuff out is like resigning myself to the fact I'll never been that slim again. Slim vs. feeling wellno competition is is...but I just can't throw the stuff that doesn't fit out

possibly but this then (a) admits defeat on the weight loss front which I am finding hard to take but I am 98% happy with current weight and cant face putting myself through months of dieting and exercise to maintain the 7lb lighter (b) there are lots of clothes on eBay that do not sell well shame really because they are in really good nick
Ok so box them up, put a big label on the front saying what they are ... put away in a place you might forget about them then live life to the full in your new slinky lovely clothes from Dotty P's and forget torturing yourself to lose 7llbs ...Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

i like your style lady! think I might just do that!!
it might stop the jeans tormenting me to lose weight!
That is what I do ... I have a pair of jeans which fitted me when I was 16 (care free, worry free, stress free and happy) I tell myself everyday that one day I WILL FIT IN THEM. I think I know deep down there is never any chance of me ever wearing them again ... they holes on the insides of the legs and allsorts :rotfl: but hey it keeps me going
sometimes
P.S remember to soundproof the box before adding Jeans then they can't shout your name and tormentRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Must admit I'd go with the box in the loft idea. My ex BF used to cook all the time and I put on 2 stone in the 2 years we lived together. Had some lovely clothes that I couldn't part with, so packed them away in the loft. About 6 months after he moved out, I got them down, tried them on and put them back in the wardrobe after chucking out all my too big clothes. Would still like to lose another half a stone but not stressing about it too much.
Having said that new man is 6 foot tall and weighs 11 stone, I love skinny men! So maybe a few more pounds off would be goodMarried 19th May 2011 to the love of my lifeCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44CSC Challenge - to complete LEGS by end of December

I've just done something ridiculously insane and treated myself to a LOT of new clothes on DP online with their 20% code and free delivery. Too good to miss, feel really guilty now as I am usually a Pradamark queen
YAY!! you deserve it.. GO YOU!! We are both ridiculously insane today:rotfl::xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
