Rusty families can be so difficult at times!! I absolutely agree with Sylphraven that every family is a bit dysfunctional to some extent and therefore it is fairly normal!! Doesn't make it any easier when you are going through it tho!!!

Bikerchick I'm very impressed with your bargains and also soo pleased all's going well with your new man!!

PLM good luck if you decide to photo all your stash it would take me ages to do that and I don't think I have as much as you!!!!! Are u watching QVC??? Have you bought anything??

Choccy hope u're not watching QVC as I know items have a habbit of 'falling' into your basket!!!

Jammy and Rusty i think you are amazing to keep stuff you have grown out of in your cupboards!! I am such a hoarder that I've always found it difficult but I got rid of stuff when I moved here (about 7 years ago). Also I try and declutter my wardrobe once a year and have the ol' if I haven't worn it for a year then I probably won't wear it! I wear certain clothes for work that I have gone off for home too. I did get rid of clothes that were too small for me as I kept some for ages and I found it all a bit depressing, but that might be my personality! I need to get my butt in gear and get selling on ebay I keep saying that but never doing it!!!

I agree, but I think links would get told off if its selling for personal use. I'm sure an eBay user name posted on a blog would be fine though :rotfl:

Out of interest, where do you sell your old clothes or do you just give em to charidee?? i usually just give them to charity, but if I do this clear out it will be LOADS

Also in other queries, what could I use as a non-permenant sticky thing for making these pouches?

I want to make the opening at the top re-openable if you know what I mean? like velcro but not velcro, what sticky thing could I use that would make it not permenant

    apologies for the total waffle!!!

I am terrible for hoarding old clothes! I always think "I might wear it one day" even though I prob won't as my tastes have changed. I threw my jeans from when I was 18 away cos they didn't fit anymore - now I have lost weight they would prob fit! I was going out last Tuesday so went to Tescos to buy something - came out with 3 tops and loads of bras and knickers! I tend to wear the same things so could really get rid of 3/4 of my wardrobe...tomorrow:rotfl:

Sorry, not ignoring everyone, just not had chance to get on here today, DS2 is poorly, off to docs in morning (again ).

Jammy, you can buy re-positionable (maybe called removable?) glue dots - these may do the trick for what you want?

Rusty - I do stuff for my MIL cos I feel I have to or I should, not because I want to :o. She doesn't appreciate it so I don't put as much effort into making anything as I would for something I am making for my mum. Love your framed pics :D

PLM - if you need to make space, just give your extra stash to us ;)

Hayley - hope you have a lovely meal and feeling brighter tomorrow :j

Aurora - you're right, we all have ups and downs and that's completely normal. Life is a rollercoaster as Ronan Keating once sang ;)

    Hi to everyone

Hello hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine :D

Had a good day today my longest bestest friend Mel came down for the afternoon. She wanted to see my dog before she is put to sleep, then we drank tea all afternoon and gossiped, walked up school to pick Jake up, had more tea and she left about 5.

I had to phone the vet today and book the appointment for Weds next week so will be a difficult week but it really hit home today how ill she really is - she seems to be getting worse :(

The boys had me up at 0630 today :eek::eek::eek: which is unheard of but I'm working nights tonight and I can't go back to bed as OH is days and doesn't get home till 1930 so god help tonight I will have to down some red bulls :eek::eek:.

Jamtart - I'm really struggling on the weight loss front - I weighed 2 stone lighter when I met OH and since having my boys just cannot lose it. I'm currently with Slimming world but very disheartened it just doesn't seem to be shifting !!!! :(

Rainmac - hope your little boy is better soon bless him.

Sorry if i missed anyone x
