Sorry, not ignoring everyone, just not had chance to get on here today, DS2 is poorly, off to docs in morning (again ).

Jammy, you can buy re-positionable (maybe called removable?) glue dots - these may do the trick for what you want?

Rainmac, hope your little one gets well soon bless him :( it's not nice when they are poorly.
I have a speech bubble and 2 goosebumpz dies today :j:j arrived this morning ;) speech bubble is fantastic :D

Shelley, still thinking of you. Just a quick one, please don't take it the wrong way, but if she is really that poorly could you not move it forward a bit to stop her from suffering? I know you probably won't want to, and how upsetting it will be for you but if she is suffering then at least she won't be in pain anymore. (thats probably not worded well and I hope you don't take it the wrong way)

Thanks Furrypig I will try and enjoy my night shift providing all the crims stay in tonight :rotfl:

Don't worry Rusty I'm not offended at all and tbh I was hoping it would be this week but unfortunately my dad is working 8 days of 12 hr shifts from today and he can't face not being there and having to work. We are having her to put to sleep at home because i think it is kinder than having to drag her to the vets and wait in the waiting room for the inevitable!!! I phoned the vets today and had to book an appointment and the best day was Weds :(
She is still running around the garden etc but she has one of those cone things on to stop her chewing the growth on her leg and she is now dirtying in her basket. To actually look at her you wouldn't even know she is the age she is - she doesnt have a grey hair bless her. I have finally accepted her fate its just not nice knowing we only have a week left :(.
    Sorry I hope I haven't depressed everyone x
Thanks Rusty and everyone for your support x

Maybe that should be this months challenge, clear out your wardrobe of any clothes you dont want/ dont fit into anymore. Put any you feel able to part with on ebay/car boot etc, the items you cant bear to part with box up & store, e.g, at the bottom of the wardrobe, in the roof etc.

I've got a denim cat suit to put on ebay, hasnt fit me for about 6 years but I love it sooooo much (its a size 6 & I'm now a 14), I felt great when it was on, it was so sexy, yet fairly casual, doubt I'll ever get down to that size though so I've taken a deep breath & put it in my ebay pile along with loads of other clothes that dont fit me - I might put the money made from this pile into a seperate tin & use it for new clothes if I loose weight, or mine get a bit worn.

Getting rid of doubles Plums, are you mad! I love doubles, means I can use a set & keep the others to look at, lol. Or make different types of cards with them.

Well done Choccy, now go put that credit card into a bowl of water & then put it in the freezer before your tempted again, or was it you who had memorised the number?

Shelley (and anyone else) - I know what you mean about it being a bit miserable when you dont lose anything, but don't give up hope :) do you exercise? i am so lazy I never do, I need to get back into it, and have been thinking about finding an online exercise buddy to keep each other motivated. when i used to do weight watchers a group of us would set an exercise target for the week and id keep tabs on it on my webspace - it was very motivating! if anyone fancies joiining me on something similar then PM me! it could be fun to start up again :)

The table stood up to rough and ready! My son used to stand on it and jump  he soon got wrong for doing that though. I was battered and bruised and also used in the garden in the summer. he used to do everything on that table and I was sorry to see it go ;) We replaced it with this one ...

Which is cheap any cheerful, very strong and good again ... only downside is there is no chairs for it, I used the chairs from the previous one. :)

Thanks for the info Rusty :)

    Evening!

I've had DD off school today as she is poorly - has been complaining about tummy ache since Sunday night and was worse this morning - so took her to the doctors after snotty boss told me I would have to make the time up . Was a bit worried when he asked if she felt sick and thought she was a bit hot but he checked her appendix and it's fine so just the usual "stomach virus" he also told me to keep her off school (damn! :p) shame as she was the main part in the school play this afternoon and she had asked me to drop her at school on the way back - her teacher had rung me and asked if she was really bad enough that she couldn't manage to come in for the half hour as she had no one to replace her :o.

OH was at home as well and wasn't at all sympathetic - but you know what kids are like they bounce back after about an hour and she started feeling hungry again. Will have to keep her off tomorrow as it's the school rule about D & V so she will drive me barmy as there's not much wrong with her now. I put her back to bed with my Dirty dancing DVD earlier to get a bit of peace - why does she never lose her voice? :rotfl:

Hope you feel a bit less  now rusty - I know what it's like to have to keep the peace. I get on really well with my ex MIL but can't speak to her as it upsets ex's GF and it's just not worth the earache I would get off him. I would do exactly what you decided then it's up to your OH so long as you make sure that it doesn't all end up being your fault if he doesn't deliver. My friends brother gave her daughter a 1/4 carat diamond ring for her 21st last year and her son got £20 in a card for his 18th a few months later.

I don't think I would be strong enough to wait until next week Shelley or be able to keep enough tissues around it's a shame you can't bring it forward a bit.

The creative card crew have posted their next challenge if anyone's interested.
