Managed to stay away - only coz I was out like.

Went to home bargains for brown paper bags but mine doesn't have them in...got dd a paint your own watering can (clay kind) it comes in a nice box that if you take it our carefully you can put it back in and give it as a gift. So that's her grandma's mothers day present half sorted.

Only done about 2 things on my list, but I've drank a huge bottle of blast energy drink so I'm going to zoom off and do it all. Be on later.

OO - hb also had paint your own egg kits with pottery eggs and paints in - for 79p.

Oooh thats the weekend before my birthday. Knowing OH he wont of planned anything, so i might just manage getting there PLM

Ye gods! Someone has answered my prayers!! After a long and boring story about the dentist (:eek:) which I absolutely won't bore you with, I basically went in expecting to be told I needed AT LEAST 3 fillings and a root canal/molar extraction after the abscess fiasco last week.

Came out ..........2 fillings thats it! NOTHING ELSE! :T:T:T:T:T:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy! I am absolutely dreading the fillings :eek: but no root canal :T no molar extraction:T just 30 little minutes of terror !!:T:T:T:T:T

Blimey Jamtart you got off lightly then!!!

I have had abcesses galore all under one tooth ... I got to the point where they had to remove the nerves in that tooth so I could supposedly not feel a thing (yeah right that bloomin hurts!!) then suprise suprise it comes back another 8 or 9 times since they did that ... then when I moved up here I changed dentists and go to see him cause I am in absolute agony for 3 weeks with an abcess, he gives me antibiotics which didn't work (I had a lovely lump in the roof of my mouth and couldn't eat for 5 days!) and then it popped eek ... I went back and he had to do a root canal filling I sat there crying before I had even got in his chair (my son had to have a filling and he wasn't even scared nor did it hurt!) and then he got started on me ... no pain relief and 30 minutes later I have a nice tooth with no hole in the back and since then touch wood no abcess has come back! ...

Just popping in to say hello to everyone.
I've had a lovely day, spent at my friends. we had a lovely lunch and then went a big looooooooooong walk with dogs and 6 kids between us!
I managed to lose the lens cap for new camera so hope I can get a replacement one.

I think this evening I will do a little bitty scrapbooking
I am going to step away from the computer again!

Everyone sounds so busy today!! I might pop up to wolvo home bargains tomorrow and enjoy a nose around. I love how everyone is on about gross dentist things and Sarah comes in announcing all Coke is a quid

Awwwww, wish I could meet you girls at the NEC, shall have to look at the budget, check my moms free to babysit & face my public transport fear:eek: .
I think I'd be ok to get to birmingham, its from there I might turn into a jibbering wreck, lol. I've travelled to birmingham new street quite a few times & its a straight journey, but changing trains by myself to go to the NEC....I know, its silly, I'm a grown woman, I just panic I'll get on the wrong one & end up god knows where, or get off at the wrong place, or somehow get lost, I have no idea where this fear has stemmed from, tis mental. Bit of forward planning & I will cope, ok, talked myself into it now, I'm a stubborn thing & once I've got something in my head thats it, lol. Sooooo, anyone else gonna meet this crazy lady, PLM & possibly Chocolate orange?

Sylphy, Catch a train to Tipton (I think you have to make a quick change at wolvo though ) And i'll pick you up to come with me OR you could get the train to BHam and meet Choccy Orange and then catch the train to the NEC together?
