PLM - My mum is a neat freak (the nicest one you could imagine but tidy tidy cleany cleany) and I can see I'm going to end up like that, when I like slobby slobby messy messy. The tidy cleany has just been instillied into my head now, even though my heart goes "ahh sod it, there'll be another day to tidy up!!" . I often think its all well and good being proud of your house, but not at the sacrifice of time with real people! Kids, health and friends are much more important than a beautifully painted house! So do not worry your pretty little head.
Never bought into the melting pot. Although I do have some of the plastic stuff that goes in it. Made a few magnets with the plastic with a heatgun- they iz a bit random, but I'll post some pics of them later on.
Orchid and Choccy - glad you love this thread, it is only so great becoz of the people who post hereso keep posting! it is nice to think that you are also not the only one having a hard time, but when you see other people getting on with things it make me think that I can get on with it too

I'm scared of OCD! If I think about things I have to do them, weird things like if I blink my left eye I have to blink the right ... I try not to think about it and it goes away! I joke that my OH has a touch of OCD but I think he really does. He can't cope with lending things to anyone as he knows they aren't where they are supposed to be. He lent me a book once and I gave it him back after 24 hours as he was doing my head in asking me if I'd read it!!!

You're not the only ones whose houses aren't at their best.
I have tidy neat freak days and days when I can't be bothered - we need a kitchen floor that isn't in bits and our windows are just about to drop out and there's the damp. I hate having people round especially some of DD's posher friends but I know it will all get sorted one day.
Now off to the post office for choccy latersOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Awww thank you again paddingtondoo :A
Its a good job those metalic dabbers sold out . I was very very tempted :rotfl: I havent thought of paints or pens to be honest.. My collecting has been albums, papers, stickers, brads and embellishments. I say collecting because i still havent made anything :rotfl:
I have neat days and then when i clear somewhere the kids or OH come along and fill it up again  They dont realise that because of my disability it takes me so long to do anything. So i often have days when i think whats the point. My living room and kitchen are ok - ish :rotfl: But i have lots of hidey holes that i dare not look into . I keep trying to tell myself that life is too short for cleaning. That sometimes eases my guilt
furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

Afternoon Again
ok so I sorted my mothers computer :j :j , without throwing it out of the window, and I'm back home with a large coffee(Can you tell I'm happy now??)
Called at tescos on way home to do the weekly shop, spent a fortune, will have to hide the recipt before OH gets home. Got the kids 4 new Doctor who figers (Why...I don't know:o ) and I treated myself to a pair of boots, Only cost £7.50 reduced from £18 so pleased that I got a Bargin:T .
Also called at B&M's today, they are selling off those big 2 Pint lager glasses, they was down to £1 I picked up a few to put towards Xmas Pressies. They also had bottles of flavored Vodka in at £2.99, in a fancy bottle in lemon, pear and raspberry flavors, pick a few of them up too for the pressie box... or for when I run out of COFFEE:p .
Still got to put the Shopping away, as it is sat in the middle of the kitchen floor, got to cook tea and then do a bit of house work (I really must do some house work......It's a right mess:o )
Right I'm off to put the shopping away.:D:D:D:D
