  • Afternoon everyone

Well I'm not happy:mad: , just spent last half hour catching up on posts and typing out a long reply to get knocked off the Computer

So your all gonna have to do with HUGS and a big hello, not the replies I'd typed as I can't remember what I put now:confused:

Anyway I'm sat here on the laptop trying to sort out my mums computer, I relly don't know what she does to it:mad: , but I feel like throwing it out of the window LOL:rotfl:

Coffee sounds good Choccy Orange...where do you want to meet? I'm on my way.....

PLM, sorry for not being very discriptive in my posts of late but my life has been pretty boring LOL... I have been watching Blood ties & Cold case on TV on demand and have just been vegging in front of the tv with my COFFEE!!
Very naughty I know, the house is a pig sty, me and OH have been falling out over stuff and had the FIL down for nearly a week now and he wont be going home til next week    so really good exciting stuff :o

Right well I better go and finish my mum's Computer for her then I can get home and [strike]watch Cold Case[/strike] do some house work.

    Take care everyone

I am loving this thread, getting loads of ideas for when I eventually actually sit down and make a card and not just surf ebay/craft shops for supplies  for some reason I seem to think I need masses of stuff to even begin!!

Paddington I had a sneaky look at your wedding pics too :o you looked lovely - I love your dress, my sis is getting married next year and has mentioned purple colours, I think those lilac bridesmaids look great (did you get the dresses made) my sis mentioned dark purple, but I know I probably sound a bit strange but dark purple reminds me of funerals _pale_

Those journal jars are a great idea, can I just ask, does the recipient write down their answers and pop them back in the jar?

jamtart6 love your card, did you write the best wishes bit freehand?

I added a notebook to the jar so the recipient could answer in the book - glue the slip of paper at the top of a page and then write the reply.

Here's one I did for Xmas, jar was a £1, as was the notebook (Wilkos)...

  • Rainmac I loove the 'fluff' on your journal jar :) Can i ask what did you put on the tag ? I made a jar for my son at christmas but i would love to make one for my mum for mothers day. I am useless at what to put, instructions wise. I always come across as either mega bossy, too much detail or just plain silly

Thank you, the fluff is a selction of fibres I bought cheap off ebay - whites and pinks (sorry, can't remember the seller?).

The wording was nicked from organizedchristmas...

Select a slip each week from the jar.
Stick it onto the top of a new page
of the journal and fill in your answer.
    Enjoy the memories!

    Thanks rainmac

I should of thought and looked there :o Thats where i printed the prompts for my sons from

I just remembered that i have a few feathers that was used on our wedding invites i will have to see if i can use those ( will probably end up like a pile of sticky stucky glue :rotfl: )

I am feeling abit better now thanks for asking :D I sometimes have very low days where i just go into myself and just exist. Coming on here cheers me up but i cant always manage to find the will to post when on a downer. I just tend to stay away. But i have made myself a promise that i will post every day,so that may help :o

You can buy eyelash wool from poundland, about three balls of it and this is fibres just like rainmac use on her jar. Works out a lot cheaper then buying the crafting fibres. Your jar is gorgeous Rainmac, you really are such a star at crafting.

I also LOVE that card Paddington. It looks so delicate and pretty. Remember to always have the feet on your crop-o-dile. One of mine slid off and I thought it would be a good idea to carry on using it.. it slipped sideways and took half of my little fingernail off there was blood everywhere :(

LOVEEEEEEEEEE the knitted Jack Skellington!!! I WANT ONE!!

Is knitting like riding a bike?? Depends if you like riding knitting needles??
OMG OMG remember riding the elf?? OMG!! LOL!!

'Scattyman Knitting is just like riding a bike. You can pick up the needles after 20 years and before you know it you're knee deep in things waiting to be sewn up x' <OUCH!!! I don't want to be in a situation where I need sewing up.

Choccy Orange, I can relate to you and what you are saying. I go into myself a lot and then I come back with some hyperactive vengeance. You don't have to apologise for going away and you don't need to catch up when you come back. Just dont ever go away forever. We love you!!
