Ok fess up who's been paying people so that I can keep you amused???
Was having a fairly normal day other than burning my thumb lighting a candle and getting a burnt bit on my nail (burnt nail really stinks)
Decided to fix the blind was standing on a chair to take it down and came face to face with the window cleaner - I must have been more surprised than him coz he stayed on his ladder - was very embarrassed when i had to pay him :rotfl:.
Am definitely going to craft this afternoon - DD has friend in for a DS fest - why is her social life better than mine
Ohhhh plm - blood don't do blood.
I have some of that furry wool that you can have choccy - pm me your address and I'll stick them in the post - any particular colour?Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Aww paddington you crack me up.. I dont think you should be climbing doing blinds.. you will probably be one of those stories where they fall and end up with a tater up their backsides.
Dont ask..
CRAFTING IS ON QVC RIGHT NOW!!:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -

I also LOVE that card Paddington. It looks so delicate and pretty. Remember to always have the feet on your crop-o-dile. One of mine slid off and I thought it would be a good idea to carry on using it.. it slipped sideways and took half of my little fingernail off there was blood everywhere
LOVEEEEEEEEEE the knitted Jack Skellington!!! I WANT ONE!!
Is knitting like riding a bike?? Depends if you like riding knitting needles??
OMG OMG remember riding the elf?? OMG!! LOL!!
'Scattyman Knitting is just like riding a bike. You can pick up the needles after 20 years and before you know it you're knee deep in things waiting to be sewn up x' <OUCH!!! I don't want to be in a situation where I need sewing up.

Thanks Plm have put qvc on, my girls are not amused at the channel changing from peppa pig though lol...think I might have to record it as it might not last long!!
It is soo nice to come on here and read your posts, you all really cheer me up, have also been a bit down as I find life a bit hard right now...my kids are gorgeous but such hard work and the twins seem to lurch from one calamity to the next (if I am not watching/amusing/feeding them they will just more or less destroy the house) my house looks a sight as well as it could really do with some tlc, but it really isn't worth it with the girls how they are...and it upsets me when people visit and I feel ashamed of my housesorry to be a bit miserable....I really wouldn't be without my kids but just wish I could relax a bit and enjoy them more maybe...hey ho
Sorry I got the card creator wrongthat will teach me for being online too long in the evening on my laptop in semi darkness lol
with regard to knitting I have never been able to do it, had a couple of attempts - I can however ride a bike fairly competently so that's something
Thanks rainmac for the info on the journal jar, think I might do one for my mum for mothers day....Jun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30

Feel free to come on here when you are feeling down. It helps so much.
Please do not feel ashamed of anything. Having 1 baby is had enough, let alone having 2My cousin has twin boys that are 10 months old and into everything.. I am sure that everything gets abit easier as they get older. I am sure that your visitors will realise that its hard with 2 !! After all they should be coming to visit you not to judge.. Relax .. take time for yourself too... They are not little forever... make the most of everyday

Orchid, When I had my children (they are now JUST turned 3 and 4) with only a year between them I thought it would be alright but my life has been a nightmare at times. They are the best thing that ever happened to me and I love them irrevocably but some days they can behave as if their only happiness is to make me miserable!!
I live my life for them and tell myself I don't care what my house is like because I will never get these years with them again. Soon they will be gone at school and I won't get to be with them. BUT sometimes I would like to have a house I am proud of and I don't and it gets to me on the days when I am low. I moved here when I was pregnant and my husband is in a wheelchair so you can imagine how much time I have had to decorate everything. Some rooms still do not have carpet down. By my friends standards, they would think my house is a mess and that upsets me and embarasses me and I can never have anyone around. I am such a clean person and I really pride myself in the work I do for my children so I can't bear the fact that someone would see my house and think I am a slob.
I know how you feel and wanted to tell you that you are not alone. xx:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
I love my melting pot. I made my friend a tree ornament with a photographs of her daughters inside the way she just did with the faux soldering on the edges.:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0
