  • Mrsgibbs1503That sounds so sweet and lovely.. what a wonderful hubby you have. Have you decided what you will do to start saving money? It must make it ten times easier to have his love and support behind you x

Bikerchick I thought about going to some craft show too. I can't get to the stitches show in London as I don't drive and it is too long a journey by train as I have to be back to look after the kids (my husband is in a wheelchair). Are you gonna go to stitches?

Rufus You're my kida girl.. pancakes all year round!! I love them so much. Lemon and sugar mmm Have you ever been to the pancake house in center parcs? I am makin you out to be some kinda of pancake addict now aren't I oops sorry!!

Goochie if you ever want to share anything then I am always here to listen x Thanks for your kind words, it means a lot. I am happy and smiling again now.. think it was one of those weekends!

Rusty My god you cracked me up when you said you was going to throw his tent in the bin!! haha!! You go woman.. different attitude and a much more positive and brilliant you today for sure. I have always followed the same threads as you and have seen your posts. I once posted to you because I was so angry when your husband said your star wars cake was embarassing and made you upset. Together... we can make each other happy and the men can be miserable on their own, right?

Yes PLM, I will be going to the stitches show at Olympia, been trying to get ticket on ebay, but haven't 'won' one yet. I probably shouldn't go as I have stacks of stuff to be getting on with, but I work so hard, I think I deserve a treat!

I'm a bit of a saddo going on my own, but I love it. Ipod and knitting on the train, can stop for a cup of tea when I want to and only have to look at stuff I like! Also means there's no one saying 'do you really NEED that?'

What does NEED have to do with crafting?

Scattyman Knitting is just like riding a bike. You can pick up the needles after 20 years and before you know it you're knee deep in things waiting to be sewn up x

  • Thanks Jammy for missing me. I hadnt crept into furrys bag for the beach ... Was just having a sulk :rotfl: men and kids are peeing me off at the mo, ive had a quiet few days a sudden explosion of emotion. But i am feeling better now.:o Dont feel bad about mentioning things. Its the makings of a great thread/group that people feel they can openly talk about things that upset them, past things etc. I know for one i have said more on here than i have to my 'real life' friends.Glad you are now feeling abit better and you are still having your camp out on another day. :D :rotfl: at the dog weeing on your bag.

Phunkles Thailand sounds like a fab idea !!! Not sure about Sesame Street on you tube tho :o I just cant grasp the idea of big bird... My son used to hate sesame street. We once went to visit a friend and he had a toy one. Cue son hanging onto my leg for 2 hours  Dont think it would bother him now though hes 6 foot 4 ;)

Furrypig Sorry the weather hasnt been too good. Good excuse to hit the shops,i think ;) . Hope its better weather for you all today.

RustyFlange Love your name btw :rotfl: Loving your crafts. Hope you are feeling abit better with DS being away.

Mhagster Congratulations on finishing your invites. I think that group hug looked scary too :o .

Sarahf191979 Well Done on slapping yourself ... Thats what i did last night :o I'll meet you at a coffee shop. :coffee: Infact a meet up would be great fun.

JordanShannon You are so wise for your young years. Things happen in our lives that make us the people we are today. They make us stronger , although it doesnt seem like it at the time !.Have a huuuge hug from me:grouphug:

Paddingtondoo :rotfl: at the cat weeing on you, hope the oust worked and you managed to get on with some crafts. Cat looks like butter wouldnt melt !! I loooove your dd bag that you made.

sylphraven Baileys hmmmmmmmmm:D one of my favorites.

    rufus and plm Pancakes hmmmmmmmmmm

Mum2one Can i pick March 1st ? My birthday has gone 18th ;) and 6th mums birthday.... How weird about your baking !! Just a little sign that she is watching over you :kisses3:

Pinkladymel I too have just caught up on your post. I am not quite sure what i can say to reassure you that without you (and jammy) there would be no us no Thrifty gifty gals ;) . You have given us somewhere that we can come, share not only our crafts/ addictions but our every day lives. You have given us the foundation blocks for friendship which in my experience is worth more than money can buy. You have given us all somewhere that we can ...belong a place we can go .. and feel safe ( be it online or as an escape from our day to day lives) Being more or less housebound you have made a huge difference to my life. I felt very alone before the Crimbobingo gals... You, Jammy and furrypig made me feel as though i was part of your group. To a person batteling with depression you 3 were a life line and for that i thank you :A

Now i know i have missed people off this BUT..... i thought my post had gone on looooong enough :rotfl:
