I have no knowledge of anything on the East coast south of York, nothing on the West south of Birmingham., I know where London is and whats on the south coast roughly but anyone in the middle...well you could literally be on middle earth as I wouldn't a clue where you was on about!

    Where is Wolverhampton!?

    the NEC trip sounds fun!!

Thanks for all the comments on the dentist trip!! :) I still actually have to HAVE the fillings, but knowing its not as bad as it couldda been made me so happy :D

    Thanks rainmac

I should of thought and looked there :o Thats where i printed the prompts for my sons from

I just remembered that i have a few feathers that was used on our wedding invites i will have to see if i can use those ( will probably end up like a pile of sticky stucky glue :rotfl: )

I am feeling abit better now thanks for asking :D I sometimes have very low days where i just go into myself and just exist. Coming on here cheers me up but i cant always manage to find the will to post when on a downer. I just tend to stay away. But i have made myself a promise that i will post every day,so that may help :o

Don't stay away pleeeaaassseee, this thread's not the same without ALL the regular posters ;)

If you ever need a chat, I'm a good listener.

I think feathers would be fab, do you have any glue dots? If so, try sticking a feather with just one of those, should stick.

what I got done yesterday - not a lot really

[strike]Going to get us washed and dressed[/strike]
tidy all the bedrooms - half done
    [strike]clean bathroom[/strike]
    hoover
start sorting craft stuff - again!
    [strike]wash dishes[/strike]
    [strike]mop floor[/strike]
    [strike]do 2 washes and dry[/strike]
[strike]walk to town with dd and go to home bargains[/strike]
    [strike]make tea[/strike]
write next 2 weeks menu plans and shopping list sticking to budget
    send off dog chip form

Tonight - settle down to do crafts - too lazy to move backside off sofa

today - having a day with dad as he came out and said he was feeling quite down this week as my mam died a year ago this week, which was quite a thing for him to come out and say cos he keeps everything well hidden normally, so gonna make sure he's got company/ is keeping busy for the rest of the week. Going for ice-cream then he's taking me to aldi for a look - potatoes for 69p - may get some as am really concentrating on keeping meals cheap at the minute.

Decided not to go on the scrapbook course - too nervous and need to save the money. plm - you said you'd teach me stuff - just wanted to know what tool it is you need for doing eyelets and rivets! (I have tools - just don't know what half of them are for) and then how you do them - have searched for a tutorial on line but can't find one! I have my fave crop on in April with my best friend and her mam and a load of my mam's friends go so can't wait for that.

Thanks Jammy xx The worst thing is I am OCD neat freak so all the time I am constantly fighting myself. My brain is going ARGH you need to tidy away those books in size order right now and the bin needs cleaning. LOL.

OMG PLM I am just like that but with 2 little ones also (mine are 2 and 4) I have had to relax and accept the mess a bit more. A messy house messes with my head in a way my OH just doesn't understand.

My jobs for today are to tackle the mountain of ironing that I have allowed to build up, clean the bathrooms and hoover upstairs whilst keeping 2 kids enterained and happy. Will report back later on my progress... ;)

  • Answering for plm - I think she has a crop o dile for eyelets - I've just bought one and its fabby :D.

If you type eyelet setting into you tube I'm sure there will be loads of help - can't see you tube on here as flash doesn't work .

    Sorry for butting in plm.

made most of a gorgeous mini scrapbook last night will post pics later but have to work today :(. Have had 3 days off and really don't want to - it gets in the way of the rest of my life - at least it's from home today and tomorrow so might sneak on and catch up later in my "technical reading" breaks unless I use them to put some washing on or hoover :rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
