Yes actually, except for jeans that is!
For God knew in His great wisdom
That he couldn't be everywhere,
So he put His little Children
In a loving mother's care.0 -

Errr, yes, except for the boys school trousers and OH's work trousers, an occasionally jeans if I've only worn them for a few hours (I tend to wear comfies indoors)
As for sheets, every 5 days-ish. Duvet probably every 6 weeks.
I never leave my bed made up, the duvet is thrown back over the end of the bed all day (neatly) or over the top rail of the 4 poster, so it all gets a good airing.
I'd just like to thank you all for your replies, it makes ineresting and amusing reading, and it's amazing the different things we each consider the 'norm'. :beer:Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Or go outside under the moonlight:D
But then I'd need another bath to wash the grass stains off me bum and we're back to the same topic again...
Then here's that fear of scaring the neighbours again ...and also we live in chilly Scotland, so DH might not look so , ahem, impressive out in the cold!!:rotfl:
Think I'll stick with throwing the duvet off for now - whether it's freshly washed or not.:o
Our duvet is about 8ft wide and doesn't fit in the washing machine, so gets a dunk in the bath when it's a very warm and windy day, so it's dry in time for night time. You can work out from this that is doesn't see much water in wintertime.
p.s. Clean polo shirt for work every day ( we all wear corporate Tees) and clean trousers every few days. Normally change into other clothes as soon as I come home.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Clearly not heard of thrush either - if you lower the temperature "down there" and let the air circulate the chance of getting thrush is lowered...noone in our family wears undies to bed for that reason, and why wash an extra 28 pairs of knickers every week (four in family).
Clearly I have heard of thrush, but hey, guess what? I've never suffered with it, ever. So bang goes that theory .
Experimented with GR's "free the foof" last night and only managed to hack it for half the night. Got up at about 5am to put some knickers on!! Ohhhhh, noooooo, I'm going to get thrush now .
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
Clean bedding every Sunday
Fresh undies including bra every day
clean pjs every day
and clean clothes except for jeans every day
Also towels only get one use and the washed.
my washing machine is on every dayTRYING hard to be a good money saver :rolleyes:0 -

I've managed to get to 60 (almost) and have worn knickers in bed every night of my life and I've never had thrush either.
Mind you, I always wear cotton underwear, which I was under the impression allows ones 'bits' to breatheI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I think this is totally unneccesary, especially given what your sig says!
Why would you use a towel only once, unless it was used for or by a guest?
The members of your own family surely could bear to use the same towel as you? If all clothes are deemed dirty enough to require being washed daily, why are jeans any different?
I don't regard myself as a scruff, and I don't go out to work now (so no need for suits etc), but I rarely see the need to have all fresh clothes on a daily basis, unless I spill something or the dog jumps up. I genuinely don't understand the need for everything to be freshly laundered before I can put it on. I know how high my electric bill is, I certainly wouldn't want to have to pay some of the posters on here :eek:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
DS1 and DS2 have clean pj's/sleepsuit every night, it's something that we did right from having DS1 and have carried on with DS2.
I do find most nights that DS1 has been up in the night and changed out of pj's into a vest and underpants.
As for clean clothes, i make sure the boys have clean clothes everyday but myself and DH will wear our clothes for a couple of days if clean, obviously fresh underwear every day.If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride then we'd see the day when nobody died.

and YES i iron everything in my house, pj's, pants, vests, tea towels and every item of clothing.
i may iron everything and people may say its a waste of time, but i work hard to buy nice clothes for me and my kids. and ironing keeps them nice . and for the mums who don't iron and say no one can tell the difference, total rubbish!!! i can tell and you can spot a child a mile away with non ironed clothes...... why spend money on good clothes not to take care of them?
I think Tamlem summed it up rather well, but here my t'penny worth anyway!
I don't iron, I do not wear fleece's and trackies either, although I do wear black jeans most days- what a slob! I mentioned in my original post that I truly respect people that do iron, so why the hostility? No one is criticizing you for ironing? So why so defensive?
You may well be able to tell a child in unironed clothes a mile off but so what? What would your prejudices be, and how would they effect the child? I would guess that they wouldn't really. You might think "oh their mum/ dad should of ironed their clothes." but would you treat them any differently? I agree with looking after clothes, which is why I hang them out flat, after giving them a good shake.
I would iron for an interview or wedding, or special party etc but day to day I see no need for me personally. My DD is still a baby so most clothes are stretchy anyway.
It does take all sort's in this world and it really would be boring if we were all the same- celebrate difference!0
