Are you sure it was SAS you downloaded? I think you may have downloaded their UPDATE program by mistake

Download SUPERANTISPYWARE (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_superantispyware/
    UPDATE and SCAN

where will I find pc tools firewall.... or the windows firewall??

    Thanks

    Jen

Download PC TOOLS FIREWALL (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')
When installing you have the option of installing 'THREATFIRE' too (another antivirus program). Entirely upto you if you wish to or not.

Can I just ask about the neilsen? HOW do they credit your account for example? Im just very concerned as another person posted the exact same program a month or two back and for all we know they could be stealing passwords or anything.
What information do they have of yours to allow them to pay you?

Its through valued opinions, the credits (equivelent of money) go to the a/c - its £3 for installing it and then £3 per month you keep it installed ....

I thought it was a tracking device to see what purchase website you use (as that is what valued opinions is about).

Hi - I renewed my MacAfee subscription last month but it still says I am not protected and the same thing about Computer and Files etc but I have been told by MacAfee that I am still protected - I hope this is true!!

If you click on the arrows next to the components, is there anything showing as requiring attention?

What does it say for your last update check in the SecurityCentre information box?
    Dave.
  • well now Im having other problems..... the SuperAntiSpyware keeps crashing (at least that's what I think it is). I've had to switch it off twice when its frozen - the each time I reboot a window pops up saying "Would you like SuperAntiSpyware to check for the latest rules and definition updates now" I say yes and it crashes again.

Looking in the Windows Security Centre - Malware it says I have no antivirus although windows defender and SuperAntiSpyware both report they are turned on ...

    Thanks

    Jen
