SM thats such a sweet thing to do- Going to Ikea today as I need to buy some storage for the bathroom as I have nowhere to store all the toiletries and cleaning stuffs I am stocking up on. So basically my saving money has cost me money!!!:rotfl:
- M+S meal for £20 for tea tonight, it looks really yummy so cant wait
- Daily Scratches and any surveys that come my way.
- Email Royal Mail Survey peeps as they have sent me the trial packages to post but havent yet sent me the instructions DOH!!

monring all, happy saturday (not going to say Happy valentines cause I am single and miserable LOL)
DD is feeling crap this morning but luckily not in too much pain. (for those who didnt catch end of thread yesterday.....she broke her leg at school yesterday at gym)
Sophiesmum....can I ask...do you think you could put a link in the first post in the thread to link into the thread from the day before? I am just being lazy but it would help instead of having to subscribe and unsubscribe each day or on even lazier days, search for it LOL I like to read the last posts too to check everyon is ok.
So my list for today...

- scratch and click
- storecupboard meals
- batch cook potatos for mashing and freezing
- work out how to make a sauce for tea when I dont have anything in the house!!
- make small batch of lemon curd from recipie here a few days ago
- keep pup play date (her litter sister is coming over afer lunch for some play)
- one trip to horse
- [STRIKE]washing hokey cokey with drying on the radiators etc[/STRIKE] last batch going on radiators now although they will be off until tonight
- tackle ironing pile and put stuff away
- housework and dusting
- use some of my smelly candles I found when cleaning the kitchen drawers
- make some Tinks Hob nobs
- use manky carrots and make carrot cake
- dust and hoover
- search house and try to find lost socks - spare pile is now huge!!
- write shopping list for next week
- meal plan for week
- update receipts into spreadsheet and note book
- write letter to bank asking for new cheque book
- write some debt letters
- have a nsd (no 4)
- check out the race for life website - think am doing the glasgow one with some of the daily chat girlies

- try out the gym at work

Tallie - sorry to hear about job thing. I dropped about 10k last year and it takes some getting used to...You will get through it though and one thing, at least there is still a job there and the union may be able to soften the blow.DFW 228 LONG H 68

Thank you all so much for the kind messsages, everyone here is on edge with the news, we can only think positive and remember at least we still have jobs. Ive wrote my tutor apllication so will send that off tomo.
I also went to sainsburys, used my nectar voucher to get lunch and the telegraph and got the free body lotion. So thats a uni resource, free lunch and gift. Very frugal and a good step to finances. Also lovely friend at work brought in some chocs for us. Ill be making some huge changes now!
Im going to make a list tonight and ill post no tomo all the tips and things so it can help others too.

My dfw things for today:- Greggs – spent £0.99 paid with £1 luncheon voucher = 0
- Breakfast – not organised enough to have any this morning
- Lunch – had some Ready Brek
- Washing done at 30deg and hanging indoors :A
- Boots – spent £14.50 (paid with £12.50 cash and £2 Boots gift vouchers) on 2 x No 7 P&P body serums and 2 x free no7 gift sets (got 250+ points and 2 more hair/skincare money off vouchers)
- Boots – picked up 2 mini mens aftershave samples and ate a couple of free sweeties they had out for Valentines day :T

- Found 2p
- Got free D Mail coupons for today and tomorrow in Morrisons (collected todays D Mail)
- Collected DS his free Thomas the Tank engine book (coupon from parents Daily Record)
- Was originally going to get some food from Asda for our Valentines dinner but DH couldn’t be bothered driving round there so making a mushroom risotto with stuff we have in the house instead and having some dressed crab DH brought yesterday especially for today;)
- Post office – got some claims forms (need to fill one out for missing Ebay item posted early last month :mad: )
