Mine was
Roast chicken
Pie with left overs
Jambalaya
Pasta with bolognese from freezer
Toad in hole
Curry and rice
However I planned ages ago and since them ds's dad has offered to tae him for the hols and I picked up a 3kg whole salmon for £5 so will be a few fish dishes and maybe some more exotic fare on there instead. Everything I don't do will freeze/ keep and be used another timePeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Long time lurker - first post on meal planning. We are 4 adults and a 7 year old.
Sun: Roast pork, roast pots, carrot & swede mash, cauli, peas, yorkshire puds & gravy
bread & butter pud made with hot X buns - custard
Mon: Fish and home made overn chips, peas
Tues: Chicken pasta bake / fresh bread
Wed: Roast chicken, mashed pots, broccoli, carrots & peas
roasted apples / pears / plums + natural yoghurt
Thurs: bolognese and pasta / fresh bread
Fri: Chicken curry / rice / nan bread
Sat: Lamb stew - has potatoes/carrots/onions/swede in it so just served with a bit of bread for dunking.
Breakfasts are usually toast and / or porridge with a few bits of dried fruit on top / at the weekends maybe but not always eggs or beans with hash browns and sausages or bacon - if we have that on a Saturday there is no lunch.
Lunches are usually ham / cheese / tuna sandwiches for 7 year old + fruit & yoghurt and a biscuit if at school. If he's at home, soup or beans on toast, fish fingers home made oven chips with peas or beans. He normally chooses - as it's only him. For the ones at work, it's normally soup or sandwiches, fruit and yoghurt.
There will be nothing left over from the Pork today - the joint is enough for the dinner - if there is a lot veg left we will be having bubble & squeak on Monday - not fish and chips
Same with the roast chicken planned for Wednesday- there will probably be nothing left after the dinner or maybe enough for a sandwich for work for someone.0 -
