Sat - American Valentine's Meal (all homemade) southern fried chicken, spicy wedges, boston baked beans)
Right, the menu is no particular day order:
Roast Duck Crown, pots, veg, yorkies (Duck is from Asda, easy to cook)
Bubble & squeak to use leftovers
Boiled bacon & pilau rice
Belly strips & something (haven't decided!)
Turkey Jamaican curry & rice (did this with chicken last time)
Soup and a sandwich
Omelette with lardons, onion and chilli wedges
Right, that's it. Now I'm SOO hungry!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

This sounds lovely OrkneyStar :T Any chance I could have the recipe please?
For 4 you need (my adaptations in green):
3 tbsp olive oil
8 pork sausages (6 sausages)
3 (2) large red onions (thinly sliced)- I have used a mixture of red/white
1 teaspoon caster sugar
500g sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped into small chunks
small pepper, chopped in chunks
1/2- 1 courgette, chopped in chunks
8 sage leaves (I have left these out and it is still fine)
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
seasoning
1. Heat the oil in a large pan or flameproof casserole dish and cook sausages gently for app. 10 mins. Drain and set aside.
2. Add onions and sugar to pan and cook gently, stirring frequently, until lightly browned, return sausages to pan and add sweet potatoes.
3. Cover with foil and cook over gentle heat for about 25 mins or until potatoes tender (15 mins in my version, and also point 4!).
4. Add the courgettes and peppers, stir well round, and cover with foil again cooking for a further 10-15 mins or until potatoes tender.
5. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar prior to serving.
OK I hope this makes sense, to make the original recipe follow black only and to make my adapted one follow the green as well!Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.
