    Good morning all

It started snowing last night here in Kent around 6ish and was still coming down very hard around 10ish when we went to bed. There was at least 2 inches on the ground then, but woke up this morning and its fading slowly and the roads will be fine so will have to go to work  At least its only for half a day today.

Waiting for a part for my Dyson which gave up the ghost the other day so I won't be able to do any hoovering when I get back after work :(;):j What a disappointment that wil be.

Don't know what to have for dinner tonight, will make my mind up nearer the time I think.

Congrats to RMac and well done to N9eav's wife on her job.

    Have a good day all

r-mac a huge congratulations, I must try and read the other thread

((((hugs)))) to all that need them today.

I am deciding what to get up to next week as I have an unexpected week at home with DH. We were supposed to be going to Crete on holiday tomorrow but in view of DH's redundancy we decided against it as I really really don't want to be frugal on holiday and we were only going B&B. Currently we are fighting with the travel insurance for a refund but as he hasn't been issued yet with hsi official letter that are refusing to pay up unless it arrives today. Never mind, even if we don't get a refund, I suppose I should think of the money we won't spend.

I will use next week to declutter and maybe ebay stuff which will be a new experience. I always feel that I really have nothing that anyone else would want. DH said last night that unless we are desperate he doesn't want me selling any of my books as he knows how much they mean to me:D

The saga of SiL continues, cheeky mare said my spag bog is better than hers and what jar of sauce do I use. Told her no jar, HM sauce and bulked out with porridge as I didn't expect her lot arriving. She refused to believe there was porridge in it:confused: and said she will make a point of dropping in once a week to see what's on offer and she was deadly serious. I was rude:eek: I said don't bother doing that again unless you are invited. No doubt my name will be mud with all the inlaws but DH was howling with laughter when he heard me and said good for me as none of the others would speak to blessed SiL like that. She is the only girl amongst 6 boys :rotfl:

Baked pots and something tonight I think

Acks, I have written a novel again

    ~scoots and waves~

    Have a glorious day everyone

  • Good morning everyone,we had snow yesterday. It was realy pretty but it's nearly all gone.Today is a lovely bright sunny morning and rather mild.
Since it was wintery yesterday me and OH decided to do some baking.Unfortunatley I had an accident and stabbed myself in the hand(don't ask,I feel stupid enough)let's just say the block of butter won,and I now have a 1 inch rather deep cut in the palm of my hand. It's not happy so I think I'll have to go to casualty for some stitches.
I hope you all have a good day.
(((hugs))) to all that need one.
    Take care everyone.
