Have to agree, stayed there on monday unfortunately it was at the normal rate of £55

I agree, we stayed at Docklands between Christmas and New Year, the staff were great, and the food in the cafe/restaurant wasn't bad either, the price was pretty good too. Parking was very secure. Rooms were nice.

Havent been to preston before but chose it as fairly central to loads of places including Blackpool, Liverpool etc

Pulled it up on Autoroute to check for car parks as the travelodge has limited parking and it looks to be really close to shops, train station etc -lots of amenities within walking distance so any tips on decent cheap and cheerful eating places that welcome kids would be much appreciated :)

Here's the search page. There are loads of £10 rooms throughout the year.
