Are there any semi-city based TLs?
I'm in London & don't have a car, so London ones are out & I'd be dependent on trains etc...
thanks
Diva:)
Quite a few TL's are within a mile of stations, usually called Central's, such as Aberdeen, Cambridge, Nottingham, Leamington Spa,Plymouth, Cardiff. In fact most cities.
You can order a directory at the bottom of this page.

I found a £10 rate for Sunday and a £26 rate for the preceding Saturday. Still a great deal at £36 for the 2 nights, but how do I go about booking 2 different rates in one booking?
Should I do 2 different booking and hope that I won't be asked to change rooms after the first night?0 -
If you fancy a trip to Norwich, there is a brand new Travelodge opened right next to the brand new bus station.

I did the same in April, it's the only way to book them. As the rooms are all basically the same I would think we will get the same room (if you see what I mean

healingtouch wrote:Hi,
Forgive me if this is a stupid queson but i checked out the travelodge link for £10 rooms, but couldn't find anywhere whether it was per room or per person. Cos if its per room its pretty amazing and just wanna check this before i book.If its per room, does anyone know how many people can share the room.
Thanks,
I counldn't find many rooms either, so I rang up and they're have problems with their website. Lovely person looked for me and found all the rooms I wanted for £10 :T
Just click on the 'contact us' tab, and I called the website help number (but got through to reservations anyway).

loadsacash wrote:The Travelodge in Perth is just a short walk away from the Megabus Stop so you can have a nice cheap weekend away!
I can confirm that too!! Stayed there at the beginning of December, 3 nights for £30!! It's a fair way from the motorway so no noise, the whole lodge is nice and new, there is a Brewsers fayre next door (and McDonalds) and as above, it's right next to the MegaBus stop. It's also about an Hour from Edinburgh and about the same to the Grampian range with some rather large Loch's!!!
I had a great weekend!!
Hope that helps someone,

21 days in advance??? hmm thats no good if you wanna be spontaneous and pull some sickies!!
at least it will give me 21 days to think of the excuse i can use...
Can't get out of the bed?, left the window open and caught a chill? i've locked myself in!!
Hmm still a bit crazy though if i didnt have to book that much in advance it would be great.
Now this is funny...
EasyHotel were doing rooms for £5 a night if you book in advance but they only have one hotel in london. however here is the small print
Hotel Facilities
All rooms have:
Accommodation for a maximum of 2 people.
A double bed, which will be made up with one towel per person, sheets, duvet and pillows on your arrival. Extra towels are available for hire at £1 per towel – please ask at reception.
A housekeeping service is an optional extra at a cost of £10 per occurrence - should you want your room cleaned, and the linen changed, please book it with reception.
A private shower room with wc, washbasin and shower.
A flat screen TV. To activate the TV you will need to buy a remote control from reception (£5 for 10 channels for 24 hours). All rooms have heating, cooling and fresh air circulation.
And you have to pay EXTRA for a window in your room!! now now Stelios!! :rotfl:тнє ѕє¢яєт тσ ¢яєαтινιту ιѕ кησωιηg нσω тσ нι∂є уσυя ѕσυя¢єѕ0 -
Travelodge: You sometimes get offered a Double room after entering your date (if you stated 2 persons). Check if the alternative of a family room is available (will be noted just underneath) and select that as the double rooms usually are smaller & not ensuite.
The rooms are very acceptable, as good as those in a 3 star hotel.0 -
Any recommendations?Use your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.
