Lol!!!! On a serious note though it is clear that certain people are clearly using multiple log ins. I wished it could be stopped.
DD, why oh why can`t with have a more threads like the one we had some months ago? Do you recall? It ended up in totally surrealistic humour. It was the house price forum to the tune of the money saving old style forum. It was the funniest and most inventive thread ever!
Dunno mate, it is a shame. This thread is turning into a really nice reconciliation thread (as well as the one where me and Cannon Fodder seemed to come to an accord).
Let's all shake hands, that means you too neas, and try to make it a better place.
As Really2 said earlier, there are a times when you're having an argument with one of the regulars (you know which ones I mean) and suddenly you're inundated with people (from my experience this means - Pobby, neas and Cannon Fodder, and some 'sock puppets' too) having a go at you. Little wonder then that the argument might get a LOT more heated than anyone would like and things get said in the heat of battle.Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

And I have my reasons to think that the said person also posted as lesquick or something!
Lol, I was just trawling the forum to find LesQuick's username (I couldn't remember it either), because I'm convinced that he's the new 'Brodders'.Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

He went on to say that as he worked in HR, he sees bullying in the workplace all the time and that it was usually a symptom of problems at home. For example, someone is bullied at home and to try to get back a feeling of empowerment, they turn into a bully at work, taking out their frustrations on their work colleagues. The HR guy went onto suggest that perhaps this was the issue that caused some of the posters in here to start arguments and cause problems but that it was just as unacceptable in MSE as it is in the workplace.
The way you tell it is far more dramatic and really paints that HR bloke in a bad light. He sounds like a right rotter!
Totally disagree,
im not gonna trawl through the thread, but the ratio of your thanks to my post thanks shows a 1:8 ratiio..... All i need to say really
Anyone who works in a Human Resources position, with such power as yourself should not be displaying any characteristics of bullying, abuse or discrimation. The certain HR officer i mentioned made quite a severe attack in my eyes on another individual...
Something along the lines of:
I have my opinion and I dont know you personally but that one post made me respond here... it was quite a nasty comment imo.
Trying to be clever and saying "XYZ is bullying therefore they must be in a abusive relationship because I see it all the time" is totally Bull!. Honestly who you think you are to even think you can justify incinuating someone is abusive... surely posting such a comment is displaying characteristics of a arrogant bully.
Again glad Im not under that HR officer... as alot of peoples lives would be hell lol.
All in all we are on an internet forum, we all have our seperate lives, some of us go away for weeks at a time as we have more important things to do, some of us post more often... either way lets keep the comments based on our postings and not real life...
And yes im sure i;ve been guilty too of nasty posts but seeing it on the other foot its surely got to stop.0 -
Anyway guys, on a lighter note,Mrs. P and I have just had 2 wonderful days in Cornwall celebrating my milestone birthday. Not saying how old I am but I will be paying less for electricity next year. So I will be starting a thread arguing that electricity prices can go down as well as up!!!!0
