Why have some of the bears got sore heads.

There are some crazy bears on this board who's only aim is to talk the market down and turn every news story to have a negative slant. This must be difficult for you (Really2) as someone who likes this forum and would prefer it if decent discussion take place here rather than mindless negativism. I have developed an ability to scan over the posts from the mad bears and only read the constructive posts from the reasonable bears.
Just put the maddies on ignore?0 -
to be honest mate i've seen some nasty comments from both sides of the wall, so to speak.
A thread a few days a go involved someone supposedly who works for HR... yet is making assumptions about a persons personal life, accusing them of having a poor background, or abusive relationship... calling them the bully.
Im glad they aint my HR officer thats all i'd say cause their behaviour was just like the 'bullies' he was trying to say the other person was... you have a HR who is bullying on an internet forum , what does he treat 'lesser' mortals like factory floor workers like?0 -
I understand that and I am indeed bearish about house prices over the coming year+.
But why do some have to post rubbish to be deliberatly personaly insulting then others thank it?
For example they will make a peronal coment add an answer to a post in the middle and then finish on another insult.
Then if you answer either they give more insults.
Keep going Really2, I'm more of a lurker than a poster, tend to browse a few times a day and have an occasional spurt of posts. Ignore the idiots, you are one of the more interesting and amusing posters so keep it coming...:T0 -

I couldn't resist having a peak as you are on ignore and you know what? You still have nothing constructive to say.
Do us all a favour either deal with your paranoia or go away.
I doubt I'll be taking a peak again.
wookster, you're a man that has only been here for a few weeks and is throwing abuse at anyone who disagrees with your view.
how did you get to hate people in a couple of weeks...why do you have to hide behind someone else's user id?
i suggest that you switch off your pc and go and meet people in the street.
it's a better way to form relationships0 -
There seems to be non stop abuse to people with anything other than a negative view.
Yes we have some loons in what some would decribe as "bulls" but by inlarge we ignore them.
But it seems now that there are bears that just want to run people of the board with user accounts that have never been used for ages suddenly giving people hassle!
This week I have at least 4 posters hurling personal insults (even about my problem) and just trolling through old threads to cause arguments.
I am in two minds to leave the board or actualy be a foul mouth pig of a human being like most bears put up with on here.
ignore the chumps Really - they are nobodys0 -
What really spoils this forum for me are posters that use multiple log ons. Apart from screwing up the debate I find it desperately childish in the extreme.0

Agree, I think I found one yesterday who announces to the board they are putting you on ignore.
(even though the only thing they do is personaly abuse you then moan if you take it personaly)0 -
I like posts from both sides - bears and bulls. Whoever they are, if they put up a well reasoned, well researched argument, then fair play. I get to read interesting things, I get to add to my knowledge and have a laugh along the way. For this reason, I am sad that we are losing some really good regulars whose views I respect.
My problem is with the uber-doom merchants who make me wonder whether the asteroid hitting would actually be a better thing. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
