I had a lovely day today, had a delivery from Lakeland on Monday and a baking tray had a scratch on it. OH needed to go clothes shopping so we decided to go to the nearest Lakeland shop today about 15 miles away. OH got all the clothes he needed and then we went round to Lakeland to find it had closed on Saturday for a refit!! Doh!! Had to carry the tin all the way home again! Never mind, gone back in the post now but I was looking forward to having a nosy round the shop as I like picking up and putting down all the gadgets there. Went into a different cookshop to lust over their pots and pans instead so not a wasted trip lol!
He got a few bargains as there were shops there selling mens clothes that I didn't even know they did, did you know New Look do mens clothes? and kids clothes??! I didn't our local one doesn't so it was a bit of a shock. But he went in H&M and got good stuff. Had lunch at Ask so not very OS but came back and took ED to her swimming lesson while I did 16(!) lengths as well. Then came home to lamb casserole that I'd put in the slow cooker 8.30 this morning! Nothing special just lamb steak (on offer at Mr T) tossed in flour, celery, carrot, swede, leeks, stock cube served with roast spuds & steamed broccolli but it was very nom nom nom!

Hugs to those who need them today.........

Does anyone know if r.mac has popped yet?? Had visions of her going into labour after the horrific Scotland rugby performance on Sunday:confused:

I couldn't stand the suspense either, I've been worrying about her so I popped over to the MSE pregnancy club V for a look see! Hope she won't mind me letting you know about her post (number 2642 explains all) sorry not very good at links.
    Congratulations R Mac!

I have been baking today - valentines cookies for the ms group tomorrow - Lots of hearts, butterflies and flowers to ice now! Boy is that kitchen going to be a mess when I have finished! :rotfl:

It is sort of snowing again here but nothing as pretty as Twink has! Lovely photos Twink!

Another long day at work & still very busy, hubby also very busy & happy to be working. He trying hard to make a good impression as there will be a couple of vacances coming up over the next 12 months as people are retiring. I do tell him how proud of him I am, to me he is a hero, doing any job he can desite his families opinion.
    Have a good evening everyone
    Hugs Hester
