  • Hi Zoe, I also have a gym ball I would like to take back but what do they give you in return?

I obviously ahem... don't have a reciept for it and I have done so much arguing with sa's lately, I am not up for another fight!

I can't think of any one thing that I need in boots except some cotton wool balls lol as I am stocked to the eyeballs on almost everything I normally use... any suggestions from you lovely people on what I should exchange it for (if I'm allowed that is!)

they will give you owt you want up to teh curent vbalue of the item. if its faulty you can get a gift card or if its skin care/cosmetic you can get a gift card/return if youve gotten a reaction to it.

  • Exposing loopholes in Boots' Advantage card points and getting products for free is one thing. Lets take for example the recent Time Delay 'promotion' where a lot of people were walking in with their voucher(s) and walking out with products for free. Lets also take the other example of Gym balls, and the more recent Everday indulgence range where we've been getting them basically for free too. But actually having the bare-faced cheek to return these goods either in exchange for money back is wrong and will only spoil it for future offers. I don't care how you reply to this (if at all) but I know after speaking to others, they too feel as strongly as I do about this 'practice'. Please think about it before you take things back in this way.

i personally have not don this, except with a no7 freebie eye cream that made my eye swell up and weep coz i can use the other stuff i got free but i dont have a problem with others doing it, boots will just pop it back on teh shelf and sell it to someone else for full price, so they havent lost owt have they? chill out love, they wont take teh cost of returned items out of your pocket doll.

    :)

Ha-ha..108 items, you're having a laugh! I got much more than that! There's no limit, but going back to my original point, returning items for money is out of order whereas grabbing stuff when possible is morally acceptable, hence this discussion forum..."grabbit while you can"......."not return it for free money when you can"

I think taking 108 items plus, really is taking the p*ss! It only takes one greedy sod to spoil it for the rest of us...... and to make it worse you are gloating about it!

Would be interesting to know how you actually got 108+ off the shelves???
