Could I just ask, how do you all go about returning your items and where in Boots do you do it the most?
For instance, I returned some N07 lip gloss today because it was too dark for my dd at the N07 till.
Very nice lady, said she couldn't accept a return even for an exchange as it was cosmetics, I totally agree with this by the way!
She then did a turnaround when I said it hadn't been opened or used in any way and was just the wrong shade, she checked it and very kindly helped me choose a nicer shade, bless!
I am always very nervous when I do return stuff as usually I am returning something I got for very little or free, for something in the same range but different. I returned about 10 of the TD items as I didn't like them and exchanged them for other TD in the range which were more expensive but I felt like a thief doing it
I bought 2 of the Daniel Ryman hand gift sets at £8.49 which actually cost me £3.49 and would like to return one of them as I don't think they are worth the money to be honest! but not too sure how to go about it or even if I should

Ragtimeplayer - i'm feeling very nervous about going to return a couple of reduced lip gloss (No7) they just dont feel nice, all grainy and have a funny smell/taste.. just hope the SA doesn't make me feel like I'm trying it on.. hate that!
I returned a few TD/DR items myself.. but bought like for like.. the SA knocked full price off new item each time.. I've read on here tho that some have had £5 knocked off exchanged item 'due to the recent offer'
derbylady returned a DR hand set.. see post #595 refunded the full price0 -
Im the bad guy again it was meeeeeeeeee, i ripped the coupons off the bodyform (4 packets) then gave her the coupons with my card after my shopping went through, ive had about 10 packets now doing that in different stores but i did do 4 together today, sa said i dont know if these will all work i said yes they will been told by the manager if u have the right amount of coupons for what u r buying then its fine, as long as im not trying to use more than 1 voucher for 1 thing then its ok, she said oh ok.  :dance:0

If the item scans at the till any store should accept it.I returned a gym ball to a store that did not stock any of this range.

I took my 2 things back today no problem then my friend tried to take her DR or TD line smoother (i think it was that anyway) well funnily enough she ended paying full price when she brought it cause she couldnt use the voucher cant remember the reason why, but shes not 1 to argue or disagree, anyway they said we cant change that its cosmetics, she came back to where i was and i said yes they will give it here so i went back in big queues at all the tills so went to cosmetic counter she said she would need to check(we didnt have a receipt by the way) i said ok but she came back without finding any1 and i said if u read the back of the receipt it says no cosmetics but it isnt its skincare, in the end she swopped it for some moisturiser of a different make, so if u fail the first time try again at a different desk.  :dance:0 -
Returned some Huggies nappies tonight for exchange against the next size up (kids, they grow up quick). Bought them at £4.99 and got refunded the full £5.65. Had some other shopping so got a 66p discount.
At the end of the transaction the SA put the points card back in and deducted 22 points
This would have meant I got less points than I should have, but because of the huggies triple points thing, we actually ended up with 44 points, an extra 27 points more than we should have got
I don't know why but they did not allow points from the milk formula we bought - anyone had this before?-=Mr-J=-0 -

As far as I know you don't get points on any infant milks (up to six months) on any loyalty schemes. Also infant milks don't count towards total spend totals.....:A OFFICIAL Boots Tart :A and member of the PAH! club :rotfl:

I have tried today to get my bag.... I was so happy when I saw them that decided to lunch a full-front attack with disastrous consequences .
the SA first said you need to buy 2 items from Avene range!! so I changed my water spray.... the bag went free as 0.00 as mentioned earlier. SA panicked and called the superviser for skin who said you can't use the 5 pounds vouchers to get the bag...   so I had to perform a quick retreat
On a happier note I tested the 12.50 pounds n7 sun cream bogof and got my pressie. The young SA said you must expend 15, I said try and it worked. :T :T0 -

Was going to go for another chocs/£5 voucher and the formula would have made up a big part getting that. Will have to watch this in the future.
Cheers for the heads-up.-=Mr-J=-0
