Think you're referring to a post I made the other day about always remembering the cash equivalent of your points.
In your example above, if the £300 buggy is cheapest at Boots, then of course you've had a bargain financing it with an outlay of £166. (Not to mention a ton of free handwash!)
But some things can be found anything up to 5 (or more) times cheaper elsewhere (though that would mainly apply to things like everyday toiletries) so always best - as ever - to shop around.
of course! you expect a bargain hunter like me to do any less?! hehe! i was meaning things taht are price fixed (such as teh concessions e.g. lancome and clinique items) or things on offer like that reduced camera.:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
mcallister1 wrote:Many thanks to the person who spotted the Avene bags were free- I did get two Botanics wipes with each, but the sa scanned the avene bag first and it was 0p.There were only two I could see in Chelmsford- maybe more tomorrow. It was great to get back to Boots after working a couple of extra days this week!
Also hello to the lady I met when her card was stuck in the advantage machine and then I accosted her and made her look at my bargains...! She said she got martin's email so hope you have made it to the thread.
more than welcome- im so glad so many fellow MSEers have benefitted from this!

I bought two packets today with the money off coupons on the top - like a leaflet. The shelf edge price is £1.44, but they go through at 99p. I took the vouchers off them then went back in and bought another two packs ( agains picked ones that had the vouchers on top), used my 2 vouchers to pay for them, so got them free ( actually boots gave me 2p for them as it took £1 off , when they only cost 99p.) I can now go back in with my new vouchers and just keep repeating the process, so have only spent £1.98 in total. No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

I dont remember seeing this post your thinking of but all it needs is for you to buy one pack with the pink leaflet attached.Inside the leaflet is a coupon for £1 off.
Pay for the 1 pack then use the coupon to 'buy' the next pack with another coupon attached.. and just keep doing the same, it can continue for as long as you can get packs with another coupon on the top.
Completely free if you pay with Boots points for the first packand they are only 99p at the moment instead of the usual £1.40 ish

PaleScene wrote:Hi,
Someone posted a few pages back about getting Hard Candy make-up reduced, is the 'buy 2 get £5 off' still working?
I read the notice in our Boots today idly to see when it ends and the code at the bottom shows it ending at 31/1/06! Had a feeling though that posters have had it work more recently than that though?
(I really want a couple of Jemma Kidd lipsticks and would prefer to have £5 knocked off, plus 300 mag points and 300 AC points...)
yes the £5 off is still on its deduced at the till:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -

Packs of Bodyform new generation have a voucher on the top with £1 coupon off your next purchase. They are normally around £1.37 but are on offer in boots at 99p. So all you need do is buy one or two packs and use the coupons to get more packs with vouchers on.
Hope that helps:beer:

But if you think it works in your favour go for it. But don't forget to leave something for the rest of us
If you are looking at buying electricals. I tend to save up my amazon vouchers that I get for free for from various sources. So the outlay is nil for me. Just got myself a new mobile phone that way for nothing.
But each to there own.
