Hear, hear Liverbird!
It's interesting that Grahamfromoldham is suggesting that he has the moral highground! Whether he has or not, and imho I don't think so, his postings aren't really in the spirit of this thread at all. I like the Boots thread as everyone is really lovely and generally pleased for everyone else. Most people on here are considerate of others, pointing out bargains and hoping that we all benefit, no-one usually seems just to be out to take Boots for a ride, which was the feeling that Graham's post left me with.
Let's all go back to being lovely, don't want this thread to end up as aggressive as some threads on other "bargain" type sites.
I have just spent a couple of hours making up gift packs with my daughters ready for various birthdays, and also for Spring fairs at their schools, most of our goodies have now been used up, the remainder is ready for going home pressies for dds' parties. Still have EI handwash to spare, but only 4 bottles, and I'm pretty sure with four mucky children and two adults this shouldn't be too hard to use up! Do have TD wipes and a couple of creams left, but dd1 and dd2 have appropriated these, what on earth they'll be like as teenagers I don't know!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

(Don't touch their cotton buds though - very rough.)
As for your gym ball, swap it for 2 x TD handcreams? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I'm feeling so down. I went to Boots today prepared with my list of EI, kids soltan and botanics stuff and guess what happened?- No vouchers in the A/C machine, no aveeda goody bags and no kids No7July Win: Nokia 58000

Hanley Boots
All card machines out of order - suprise suprise
No Avene offers
I heard a CA saying to a shelf filler who was putting sale stuff from a basket onto the shelf to leave everything in the basket as people were only spending there vouchers and they wouldn't notice the stuff in the basket.
Crafty or what!
Anothe CA said the no7 offer is on for 3 more weeks. The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
grahamfromoldham wrote:Ha-ha..108 items, you're having a laugh! I got much more than that! There's no limit, but going back to my original point, returning items for money is out of order whereas grabbing stuff when possible is morally acceptable, hence this discussion forum..."grabbit while you can"......."not return it for free money when you can"
Although this board has the rather selfish title of "Grabbit", the people on the Boots thread, inbetween taking back the odd freebie - go out of their way to share (sometimes quite literally) their bargains with each other and anyone else reading.
If you managed to get at least 108 items, well done - though I was surprised anyone would want or need so much.
Your "haul" though is of a greater cost to Boots than someone returning an item that can be legally resold. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I went in to Hanley Boots as well. No machines working again. What can we do about it? Is it worth complaining by letter do you think? This happens very frequently at the Hanley branch - what's it like around the country?Weight loss - here we go again - watch this space!

If you go on Boots.com and do a store locator search, it will tell you what is available at that particular store..............including the AC machines.
LLknitwit wrote::hello: Does anyone know if there's a AC machine at Horncastle or Louth Boots?
Thanks in advance. We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................0 -
