One of the stores I went into this week had an out of order sign written on a piece of till roll. The machine was switched on, so I put my card in...and it worked! I think some of the ACM's are deliberately signed out of order.0

Hi Mary,
The Avéne should be in the section with the other brands of skincare that have a display of their own, ie Time Delay, all the various L'Oreal, Botanics skincare, No7 skincare etc.
If you can't see it and ask an assistant again it would probably be worth describing it as skincare for delicate skin - as I think that differentiates it a bit. This may be easier for them to point out or be aware they don't stock it.
ps I don't think I want to join in on the moral debates that have sprung up in the last day - whether I agree with some posters or not. I don't enjoy an argument and even though I don't have the same beliefs as everyone posting here it's been quite harmonious and helpful till now - something you realise when it's not.Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -

Saint_Chris wrote:In st helens i've been buying 10 packets at a time using my original paid for vouchers. Then infront of the cashier taking of the vouchers before she scans them. Then i go back for another 10 packs as she is bagging them for me. the young girl on the till doesn't mind. But i did originally pay for my first 10 packs.
It is only a young girl on the perfume counter and the towels are right next to them.
I get a voucher and i give her a extra 75 points for spending over a tenner cause i always buy a deodorant. Oh and the 10p is always taken of the price of the deodorant.
Last week i did this 5 times with the girl.
Tesco also have them in at 98p
Up to now i have had over 200 packets of these. I have given most of them away to friends for daughters.
But i have saved about 40 packs for daughter.
I still have over 20 vouchers left i just want to keep getting them but hubby says that i have to many now.
friends bought a few packets and have given me their money off vouchers cause they feel embarassed using them.
Not me boots pay me to take them away and tesco give me club card points for them.
see here are last weeks haul
I am impressed!! Thought i was doing well with my 10 free ones!0 -

Dont think this offer has been mentioned:
Went to Boots yesterday and bought Heinz truly fruits which are on offer at 75p down from 79p and used the voucher from the ACM for 30 extra points, looked at my receipt last night and it took 30p off each jar AND gave me 30 bonus points for each, making them just 16p a jar!! Wish I had noticed at the time as I would have got loads more! Not sure if one voucher gives you 30 points on each or if you need 1 voucher for each one purchased as I only bought 3 (gutted) and handed over several vouchers so not sure if she just scanned one or 3 as I was just intersted in checking that the total points was the right amount. Hope to try it tomorrow but it sounds like the ACM are pants at the moment.
Got 6 EI items, the bath stuff was half price reduced to £1.98 and bogof and the shower gel was also half price reduced to £1.48 and bogof so effectively £19.94 worth of products for £4.94 and 900 points back! I love Boots.
I bought 6 packs of Bodyform several weeks ago and have been cutting off the vouchers when I get home to use on my next outing, think I've got about 48 packs now.0 -

i was wonderin if someone could clear thsi up for me, im thinking of getting some bodyform for my mum and sis (dont use em myself- cant stand it!)
if i buy ten to start with with £1 coupons on top, next time i can take these to boots, get another 10, add summing thats dead cheap to make it a tenner like a 29p choccie or summing, my choccies will become 19p, i will get 40 points plus can use a 75 point with a £10 spend coupon, so ill spend 19p, get 10 bodyform, 115 points and a £5 skin care voucher
before i do this is this correct?!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -

I think it depends - going on previous posts.
Some stores read it as an over £10 spend and others look at the actual money to pay. I don't know if the people who've had the former happen actually have the line on the receipt saying 'gift voucher 0.00' as I don't think anyone has specified - it could be that the till staff are just so used by now to doling out the vouchers with receipts.Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0
