  • Avene / Aderma products are on clearance (half price) at Boots Bletchley retail park ( near Ikea) if anyone is looking for these around that area. Plenty left near tills and towards the back of the store, but no freebie bags unfortunately
  • No Avene bags in Basildon today. They had a few of the Soltan kids packs for £2.49 on BOGOF. Still no EI voucher for me

    Oh and for Shannon

It was me who got all the bodyform and like i SAID in my post i have GIVEN away most of them to friends who have girls who need them.

It is not my fault that once purchasing 10 packets you get 10 voucers for 10 more free, then when you get these 10 free, you again get 10 more vouchers etc etc this cycle could go on for ages or until bodyform stop putting vouchers on the packets.

I have done nothing wrong and i'm not being greedy at all freebies are freebies in this day and age.

And for what it's worth sanitary protection cost a fortune.

bet you wouldn't say no if it ws for sonething that you wanted.

    Hi All,

I have quite strong opinions on returns of free stuff & multi buys of things & I'm not going to say what my opinions are - and the reason is I would hate this thread to change from the lovely chatty helpful thread that it normaly is.

I know people feel quite strongly - I do too - but we've had a bit of an airing and it would be really nice if we could go back to normal now.

Just post our bargins and experiences

There are thousands of people on this site, and yes we all have different ideas and notions of what is a bargain and what isn't.

Unless somebody is doing something illegal, I feel they should not be criticised. Calling someone greedy is not productive or helpful, it is not going to change people and it is not going to add to the usually nice atmosphere of MSE.

This has always been a great thread, and yes, let's please keep it that way. It should be about the bargains, not personal commentary.

Thats right......after your initial £10 outlay then you can carry on using the vouchers for as long as the offer is on. This offers tend to be for as long as stocks last...so you should take full advantage while you can.

  • I went to Boots Mander Centre Wolverhampton today. I used my skin care voucher to get a £5.95 pack of small avene items for 95p. I also got two Boots Botanics wipes at £2.99 BOGOF . I sneakily spotted 4 bottles of avene aftersun hidden behind a notice above the product shelves. There was no indication anywhere as to what should be purchased to get these as a free gift.I offered two a ride in my basket and left the others for the next person, .The SA looked a bit confused when the avene aftersun registered as 00.00 at the tills but said nothing. Result total cost £3.94 ! Many thanks to freebie junkie for the heads up on this one :-)

    Freebie_Junkie,

I have no idea what post you are referring to unless it was the one to Dave. Any pointers.

Not being funny I really don't know what you are on about in your reply to me. Sorry I am rather  maybe I am just being a bit thick or having a blonde day. But can't see what has to do with what I said. Maybe reading the other post you mentioned might help me make sense of it.

Also don't remember suggesting you personally where buying items that you did not need

As I recall I was talking in general about points there values and freebies. And if you feel buying extra to get extra points is worth it then do it. But don't just because it has extra points if it something that you will never use or could give as a present. Or spend £X just to get a freebie. But if you are going to buy that brand anyway then do it.

I did take advantage of the EI voucher. It meant that I got some thing extra for when making up presents and did not cost me anything to buy with the points I was rewarded.

But as I have said each to there own.

    Yours

    Calley

P.S please don't think I am being funny as I really don't understand your above reply 100%. As said it is most likely to be me rather you.
