There is an interesting thread here on moneysaving on 'feminine protection' as they call it delicately.

Oh dear- you seem to have taken on the cultural hatred of women which is endemic in society and applied it to a natural process...:p
Actually it is less gross than you think- and pads aren't all that lovely, are they?
Honestly, this is to do with what you are accustomed to.
Sorry Dormouse I see that I was repeating your link- I do try to keep up but sometimes it is all too much.
By the way I was in Colchester today, visiting the castle and Boots of course and couldn't find any bargains at all. Are they hidden away? Or is it really that bad?0 -

As far as I know none of the skincare on the voucher is on BOGOF, you'll find some reduced now and again but that's individual store reductions - shame cos botanics is BOGOF and it's really nice stuff!Best Threads -

I didnt get any decent vouchers out the AC machine today but got some bargains from the reduced section. I got Loreal Visible Results Skin Perfector for £1.87, one of them had reduced to £7.?? and the others had £1.87 so i got a couple of the cheaper. I picked up 3x Botanics Eye and Lip Correction Serum which are in 2ml sachets which were free, they went through the till at 0.00p. I also got a Piz Buin self tan foam for £1.48. I got a clearasil face mask (think it was clearasil) for my daughter 87p and a Boots one 50p. These were tubes of mask not just a one application sachet.
I got 3 packs of bodyform and took the vouchers off to use at the till. When i got to the till it came to over £12 but then when she used the 3 x £1 bodyform vouchers it was £9 odd i asked if i would get the voucher and she said no. I then grabbed some reduced shapers crisps to take it to over £10 and got my choccys for 99p and skin voucher.
It seems some people on here are not having that problem but im not too bothered. I felt a little like i was doing wrong taking the vouchers off the bodyform to use there and then cos if you look on the voucher it says '£1 off your next purchase'. I think i will go and buy £10 worth without using the vouchers, then when i get home take the vouchers off and then get more another time. Its definately worth it for me as theres myself and two daughters who use them and its suprising just how many we get through. I stocked up on the Always when they were bogof, as that was the first time i had seem them on such an offer, the best normally is 2 for £2.0 -
