They were like a mesh stocking filled with compacted cotton wool type stuff. I remember having to make a snowman for school and my mum hit on the bright idea of pulling some apart and using them................gross! :eek:0

Got a bargain on some T&G styling products in boots today... T&G is on 2 for £7 again and DH needed some styling products. Spotted some styling sets at £9.99, one with blue sleeve called T&G style palette work and the other with pink sleeve called T&G style palette play. Both contain six 25ml pots of styling products, the work one has: no kinks smoothing balm, leave-in conditioning gel, twist-it curl balm, styling pomade, define-it wax and summer creme. The play one contains: define-it wax, firm-it hair glue, twist-it curl balm, rubber shine, styling clay and funky gum.
Anyway, the point of all that is hubby couldnt decide what to get so i showed him these sets and said why dont you get these? He said of course that they were 9.99 each and not included in 2 for £7. Of course, I remembered the fairly recent glitch on the 1lt shampoo bottles so thought, why not give it a go... to cut a (really) long story short, they did indeed go through for £7 for the twoResult!
Now I appreciate that not everyone would go for this but they are nice looking kits, sorry cant find any pics anywhere and dont appear to be available online, indeed I havent seen them instore before so maybe they are new?
Also, hubby was after some pur: phuel shaving creme (Pic here), I hadnt heard of it but apparently its the dogs b****xso anyway they retail at £13.50. Thought I would treat him and as it was in the mens section knew would get £4 off. Got a couple packets of chewing gum to take over £10 to get voucher. Put through till and came to £7 something. Went away very confused and a bit miffed not to get voucher. Later looking at receipt saw that in fact the product had scanned at £10.50, then minus £4 came to £6.50. Now I know this is still a lot to pay for shave cream but as I said my hubby said it was brill and at just under half price its a bit of a bargain for this if you fancy it.
Hope this helps someone0
