Hi to the fellow Welwyn Garden City Superdrug stamp buyer! Nice meeting you....
Probably the wrong place in the forum to thank people but as a newbie to this site, I am much appreciative of all the recent tips.... have gone for cahoot loans, Sainsbury credit cards and Superdrug stamps to name but a few....
Shame this stamp offer isnt for second class as well.....0 -
Asda are doing 2nd class stamps for £2.40 per book of 12, ie 20p per stamp.0

If you can get any. I've been in 3 times this week and they've been snapped up before I got there. Apparently they deliver more every morning, but you have to be there about 8 am to get them.A penny saved is a penny gained0

Sounds great but won't be any good for me as I want 2nd class postage for Christmas, and last posting date for 2nd class is Saturday 18th. Delivery on these is up to 7 working days.5% off postage !! ?? Thats nothing. I get about 15% off mine !! How ? Well why not goto:- http://www.stampsforsale.co.uk/index.html and see for yourself. I've bought from this seller 3 or 4 times with no problems. You'll find the relevant part almost at the bottom of the page, labelled DO YOU NEED GB POSTAGE?, PLEASE CLICK HERE
SELLING MIXED VALUES AT 85% OF FACE VALUE (MINIMUM ORDER £50 FACE)
Great for other postage after Christmas, though, as long as you don't mind getting some stamps with face of value up to 40p.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -

Hi
I have bought 5 books this afternoon at Superdrug, thankyou very much for the tip.
With regard to the stamps for sale website how much do they charge for UK P&P, and has anyone else used them.
Thankyou

Having done a few mystery shopping jobs for stamp shops or the Post Office, you can go in to your local PO and ask for DWP envelopes for your local office and they are prepaid
and free to you! 0 -
Not sure if everyone knows this already, but 5% is the retailer's margin on stamps, so Superdrug are selling these at cost. Royal Mail send them out free direct to the store so it's not unlike going into a shop and asking for change for a pound.
Not saying it's not worthwhile, just a bit of info.
To be honest it's not a bad idea - might do it in my shops all year round. Watch this space!!!0 -
so if I but 10000 stamps marked 1st from the PO, get 2% back on my credit card, then first class goes up by 2p, will they buy them back from me next year? Sounds like an easy 9% profit to me !!
Fingers0
