Good morning everyone,
DH took furchild out for her first walk and said it's rather mild here. Yesterday was very sunny and I didn't manage to get out in it at all.Hoping it will be nice again today.
Not too much on the agenda for today. I'm heading off to colour my hair in a moment, no pun intended. Gray has become the prominent colour and I guess I'm vain or something as I'm not ready for all that gray. Oh well, it was a freebie (courtesy of the nice freebie posters here) so a no spend for my vanity.
DH was off yesterday so I didn't get too much done. Today will be tidying and giving the kitchen a proper cleaning. S&S for the bathroom and that's about it. It shouldn't take too long to do.
Brekkie was egg on toast, lunch packed and sent with hubby. I made some potato and leek soup to go with his sandwich so I'll have that for lunch also. Tea tonight will be a full breakfast I think. Lemon meringue pie that I made yesterday for afters. It was my first attempt at a lemon meringue pie and I'm quite chuffed as it came out very nicely. I've always been intimidated by the thought of meringue.
Lots of (((((((((((((Gentle Hugs))))))))))))))) to all of you. Hoping for a day of peace, smiles and laughter for all. I'll catch up on yesterday's thread in a bit, so if I've missed anything, my apologies.
Will call in later.

Morning Everyone!
I got them all up early this morning as dh worked unexpectedly last night (someone else had phoned in sick) so I'm waiting for him to come home to go to sleep he's been up since 6.30am yesterday morning! Didn't want the kids disturbing him whilst getting ready  DD isn't in college until 1pm today and her bf doesn't have to be where he's going until 12 so they can have a lazy morning.
WM on it's 2nd load, bathroom & kitchen S&S & dry washing away. I'll have a quick dust & sweep round once dh in bed. Pasta bake for tea - I cook off chopped bacon, onions, 3 colours of pepper & 2 tins toms then mix with cooked pasta, chuck into an oven dish, top with grated cheese & cook until ready it's yummyI'll serve it with garlic bread & salad.
Have a good day all. Gentle ((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) if you need one/want one. I'll catch up later.
