From day 1 to present? All i'm saying is if they don;t do it as quick then the reason will be the cash advances, i'm not saying they won't increase - just they make drag their heels til you pay a lot of the cash off.

sorry for confusion. remember a CC is not for cash withdrawals thus they are charged higher!

While we see it as not for cash withdrawals, I'm sure lenders like it when customers use it to purchase cash, as they make a lot of money. Vanquis have even advertised as 'Why not use your Vanquis Credit Card to easily withdraw cash' on one of the leaflets I see.

Hopefully they won't see it as to bad.

Oh yea, I agree totally with that sentiment - cash = big bucks for the CC providers but specifically it can look as though you are desperate and thus may restrict increments for that reason.

Surely you can see the flip side to the coin, all i'm doing is making you aware of it - hopefully they take a relaxed approach and think, cool he spends a lot of cash so we'll give him a £3k limit :rotfl:

Yes, from day 1 to present. Not loads and loads, just here and there, and usually paid back online within a week or 2. OH's Aquacard went up very quickly, and we used it to pay for currency for a holiday last year. When he asked for a credit limit increase not too long ago, they agreed too.

    Who knows what they're thinking!

    lmao

I have only ever used a CC for cash withdrawal once and thats because I left my debit card at home so when i went home, I just transferred it straight back into the credit card!

I know vanquis give good increases but im not expecting one so soon as i spend 80% of my limit in a month of getting it!!!!!!!!!!

And im paying it back in installments, lol

Giving me 3k limit at this time in my life might be a huge mistake. Considering it's take me hours and hours of to make 3k, the temptation might be more then I can handle. :rotfl: (Just joking for the anti fun protesters)
