I was just wondering why does it matter if Vanquis is shown on the card, its not on mine had it 2 years now but wouldnt particularly care if it did, not one to worry about things like that!
I wasn't a particularly good user of my card at the beginning and often had late payments, but since I set up a rolling debit card payment 10 months ago my account has been running along beautifully and I had a letter giving me an upgrade from £250 to £1000 on Saturday so just goes to show and prove to me that paying bills is a good thing lol!!!
My mum had a limit increase in January and also had her upgrade letter on Saturday. Never had a problem with them and when I was having payment issues and going over due to charges every month they were really helpful and made a payment agreement (the rolling debit card) which suits me perfectly!0 -
Wondering if anyone could help. I got my vanquis card July 2012 with a £250 starting limit, in December 2012 the imit was raised to £500. I use the whole amount each month (except for about £2 so it doesnt go over my limit) and pay in full by direct debit. I have just paid my May payment (so 5 payments made now since my last limit increase), when am I likely to get another limit increase or does it vary for everyone?
Yes it does vary for people, depending on their circumstances. If you continue to go close to your limit on a regular basis, it should trigger an increase as it would indicate that it is no longer sufficient.0 -
I received a letter after receiving my 5th statement increasing my limit from £500 to £1000! Pay in full every month and not used much on it at all only one month went over 50% of my limit! It's nice to know from the increase that rebuilding my credit is working:jEngaged 25/12/11 :j

Just received a text from Vanquis to say ''Congratulations your credit limit has now been increased to £1000'' they've done it 4 days early. I've just been online to check and its been done.
Not that I'll be using it too much, prob just £100 a month and Ive always paid it back in full.
